We have really put some much needed pace (and dare) into the backline
Sam Murray and new chap Flynn Appleby can catch an opponent and tackle or spoil (see Flynn,s efforts) both are tough critters
Murray and Jack Crisp are running and gaining distance getting meters before disposal
Yes folks we are building something with the new bunch _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

We've added pace up forward as well, with Stephenson, WHE and the prospect of Wells and Elliott up there as well. Good times ahead folks. |

Thought I'd bump this thread as I found an interesting article on AFL about the speed and distance runners at different clubs.
http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-05-23/running-men-keeping-track-of-your-clubs-speedsters
No real surprise that Sidey is up there for distance covered per game, but tad surprising that Crisp and Appleby are 2 and 3, also that Howe has the second fastest match sprint speed.
Interesting when you compare across the data from other clubs.
Majac Dawe actually has the fastest recorded sprint in the league this year. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Crisp has really improved his disposal this year, especially on his right. He used to always look to get on his left, not anymore _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

I used to shudder when Crispy had the ball, not so much this year! I'd like to see him kick a few more goals.
He's averaging; 23 disposals @ 71% efficiency, 9 contested possessions, 4 tackles, 5 marks, 3 I50's, 4 clearances & plenty of one %. He doesn't mind having a bounce either.
He hasn't missed a game. _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

Skids that is an interesting by product of our improvement
Hey is,not Stephenson great and gee isn’t Sam Murray a great addition
Ditto on Grundy and Sidney —we maybe tend to forget some of our other boys and how their progress equally has spurred on our improvement
Mr Longmuir would I suspect had some thing to do with Jack Crisp betterment
But Jack too “you can lead a horse to water but can’t make em drink” _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |
