Go pies. Pendles out is a big loss. He appears to have led really well this year.

someone said Crocker for Pendles is not like for like, but if you look at selection earlier this week in total, they brought in Wells for Blair, so the aggregate of those two changes makes sense.
out: Pendles, Blair
in: Wells Crocker
I think we kept the balance pretty well. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

Guessing de Goey and Wells will interchange 50/50forward and midfield to make up for loss of Pendles. |

This makes me feel better. Only marginally, but better nonetheless. _________________ Est. 2002 |

Nah, just bad selection yet again. Daics or Wills shoulda played Crocs is tired & needs a rest. Wont do much, hope I'm wrong, but other guys in WAY better form. And losing Pendles, even though it was obvious this was gonna happen, is prolly the worst out we could have against the Thugs. He always kills them, whose gonna keep Danger Gaz & Duckwood in check? The loss of Fatty & Selwood2 helps us, but doesn't make up for Pendles. Unless Treloar & Wells play blinders, Losing the skip might just tip the balance. First quarter might decide it. I'm seriously thinking about changing my tip! _________________ "If at first you dont succeed...

Losing Pendles is a savage blow, but I have noticed that we are now far less dependent on him than in the past.
I would have liked to select another midfielder to replace Pendles, so that DeGoey can stay forward for the entire game, and in order to hold in check the Geelong midfield. Unfortunately, though, we didn;t really have an option available, given that both Wills and Sier are curretly judged to be not ready,
So, in the circumstances maintaining a like for like balance in our structures was the way to go. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!
