Another bloke whose worth is more potential than actual.
I love the kid, and the way he goes about it, but to be honest he would not have had many oppo coaches lying awake at night given his injury record and on field output to date.
Hope we keep him and expect we will. But if others are going to make an unrealistic offer, then so be it. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

He's already the best KPP at his age imo. He'll be a star. |

It's not as if they are free agents and they can walk for one compo pick. IF they decided to leave (which I find difficult to believe, it looks more like agents planting stories to up their clients contract value), clubs would need to get a trade done.
Two first round draft pick for each would be the going rate, and would mean we would have a Total of 6 first round draft picks over 2 years, plus cap space to attract free agents.
So while I wouldn't want to lose either of Darcy or Jordon because their window of prime performance aligns with other players, it's not like we are left high and dry! Its the sort of thing that could end up being a blessing in disguise and set up the next flag or dynasty. |

i agree, we need to lock him up as soon as possible.
i do like that he has been a bit sheltered, and not fed to the wolves like josh fraser was, _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

These two would both be in our top 5 of "must retain" players. Top 4 I see as clear (no real order), the fifth would be contestable:
Treloar
Grundy
De Goey
Moore
Not listed Stephenson as a move at this stage is too remote a possibility.
Losing either would be a massive blow and definitely set our compete window back. The chances of them staying though are much stronger than leaving. Only thing that will change that is more poor behaviour from De Goey. _________________ Well done boys! |

But the first two on Inky's list are not o.o.c. soon (right?).
We can guess that JS will sign an extension (two years) long before either JDG or DM do. |

Get the feeling that Moore would only be a 2 goal/game at best forward, but an elite All Australian gun in defence. That being said what is concerning are the following:
1. He is the son of a player whom was seduced by the cash
2. Said father has handed over managerial duties to Liam Pickering “in his final contract year”
3. Liam Pickering is the king of “player transfers” (Franklin, Ablett twice)
4. Dr Turf alluded in February on the “off the bench” program on SEN re the Moore rumour. Whose also on that program? Liam Pickering
5. Swans commonly get their man!
6. Peter whinged about Bux game plan last season publicly
7. No contract news is BAD NEWS _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

I don't agree with the interpretation of Peter's comments as whingeing (at least not about the coach). They're more disdainful of defenders than anything else.

Semantics I guess, weren’t exactly effusive or helpful. A tad of “Damir Cloke” about them! 😁 _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

Well, everybody should listen to the audio itself and see his own gut reaction. |

If Sydney are openly interested, then they are not.
Coz the Swans keep their cards hidden until its time to show em.
see: Buddy. The whole world thought he was going to GWS. _________________ Get back on top. |
