Completely agree. It's an in between time slot at 4:40pm just like the 7.5 floor in "Being John Malkovich" which gives certain games a surreal quality. I don't know about anyone else but the game last Sunday felt like a game your brain would conjure up during a fever dream. Bizarre atmosphere. |

26 straight wins
Well we fixed that —we knocked them off but what a train ride home
Virtually all way home in carriage full of Maggie fans we sang Good Old Collingwood Forever till our throats were sore and faces too with the grinning
65 years on and I still have that memory
Oh and September that year a flag |
Great memory!! Yep, it's magical when a group of Pies supporters who don't know each other can bond together in celebration. The tribe at work. |

In those days you stood in same spot at Vic Park as did many so every week there you knew every one around you—we stood where the boys ran out of race
One game it bucketed down and half time were drenched—as we were 10 minutes from Vic Park we went home at half time and changed to dry cloths
Got back 10 min into 3rd qtr and just in time for a second deluge
Stuck it out to see us win but against who I can’t recall
Loved those days _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

I can't go to the game as Sunday arvo the family come over for dinner, and I don't get to relax and watch all the game as the family are here by half time.
Fkn shit timeslot, I hate it. |
^^^^THIS^^^^
I'm in the same boat; I record the game, which I start watching from the beginning once my guests leave. I don't think I've ever seen the last quarter - getting old and always fall asleep on the couch. |

One of the many drawbacks to living in Adelaide is that many games are not shown on television, particularly ones in this dreadful time slot. |

Leave the Sunday twilight games for Perth teams
If u have family over. Just disown them. Simple.
Watching on TV is fine for me personally, can get time to do stuff on the weekend that takes up the whole day. |

a terrible time slot. the worst thing about it is friends come over drink my beer, eat my dinner, see me scathing at the commentary and umpires. they then ask the same questions as to why I'm getting cranky. id like to tell them all to f#$k off but then my wife has won the whole, you change when Collingwood is playing thing, and then get on a plane all emotionally scattered for the week ahead while missing the last 1/4.
it's a joke. and the jokes on me. _________________ no second chances |

I think it'll end up like MBL eventually.

^ Nothing wrong with that!
MLB is the best!
Games on mostly every night, you wanna watch Baseball, why wait until the weekend? Perfect!
I don’t care when our games are on, my life goes on what ever time COLL is scheduled to play.
If I’m home, I’m home, if not, no big deal.
I don’t plan nor do I revolve my life around the AFL Fixture, spending time with my family is more important than 20 odd guys I don’t know running around kicking a pig skin on an oval... _________________ WE WERE ROBBED, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, RIGHT IN FRONT OF MEEE!

Yep - horrible time slot! Makes it difficult as a country supporter as you get home late which is compounded by a whole week of work ahead of you (and I've only got the relatively straightforward journey back to Bendigo).
Is it just me, or do we seem to play more than our fair share of them? I've always felt like AFL use us to justify the Sunday twilight time slot in particular as we bump up the average attendance. |

Hated it when I lived in Melbourne. Now in Thailand it is convenient but I am sure the AFL didn't schedule it for retired people in SE Asia. Monday nights worse. And Sunday nights. _________________ Annoying opposition supporters since 1967. |
