Can't see Langer in the side but Katich is mighty unlucky not to be there.
Looking at how the fastest wide (and no-ball) bowler in the world is sending them down, it would not surprise to see Tait given a run. Against Zimbabwe that is, could be a baptism of fire against these Indians at the moment. _________________ he's an animal, what can u expect!!! |

Wombat, yes it would be silly to pick a Victorian bowler over tait, they obviously aren't good enough to warrant selection as they selfishly and egotistically try to outdo each other when bowling the opposition teams out twice. They can sit and rot at the top of the Sheild table then. We don't need blokes with their bad attitudes respresenting our countrys cricket team.

Yeah unfortunately i missed anither Martyn cameo when the team is under pressure. I did however "catch" the sitter of a catch that he dropped earlier in the day.
No doubt Bevan will wrap this game up for the aussies......piece of cake

Can't see any of them in the list of contenders for positions, Dyso and JLC. It's just a leeetle step up in class.Maybe White and Inness next season.
I could also question Harvey's credentials however the selectors for some reason rate him despite paltry performances at domestic level. Interesting slower ball certainly but has he ever came off with the bat???

I don't think Harvs is expected to be a match winner with the bat, in the same way it's expected of Andrew Symonds. Harvs is relied upon to slow the scoring at the death with his bowling. I don't have the confidence in Harvs batting the way i did say 5 years ago.
Although i do remember him hitting 3 huge sixes in a row, a couple of seasons back, possibly vs. Zimbabwe in Tassie?

Bring it home for us Bevo.......lol
At least it looks like more red ink for his collection.
If you want to see good solid stroke play have a look at Razzaqs innings against NZ in the latest one day game played.

Its the same way Shane Watson was getting a game........lol and Shane Lee.......lol
If i was selector Martyn would have been dropped ages ago as he is dead wood. Martyn is good for a cameo against mediocre teams like Zimbabwe when we are already scoring at 6 and over and there is no pressure. Martyn doesnt even bowl in the one day games and is average in the field.
I can see your point on Harvey. Afterall he is a decent fielder and we dont want to lift the fielding standards too much. Harvey is also a useful bowler who can make a few runs. He is a bowling all rounder but for some reason we seem to always prefer batting all rounders. Its time we brought back Shane Lee.......LMAO

Shane Lee?? Gawd , now there was the great pretender whereas at least his brother had the potential to be something legitimate.
Watson may still be a bit of a jury out, will have to see whether his bowling ever amounts to anything. Then again, he and the pretender are only part of the 30 year + search for the great Australian all rounder. Can even remember a few forgettable Vic names on that list over the years ie Shaun Graf.
Martyn IS a class player and I seem to remember him having a pretty good World Cup so yr comments are somewhat overdone. Also he has bowled quite often in previous season during LOI and has usually been better than average in the field.
What is beyond question is that he seems to be out of form and his age suggest his future is limited. Therefore his position is understandably in question. _________________ he's an animal, what can u expect!!! |

Big swing from Willo. Dot. Swing and miss - a bye.
Run out. All over. Good win to India injects some life back into the series. _________________ Donny.

20 runs (at least) less from Lee's bowling would've helped. _________________ Donny.
