Merry Christmas all.
Only the second time in 20+ years I've hosted Christmas in Melbourne, went off well.
My kids had to leave early shortly after lunch, 1 had to drive to lakes entrance and the other had to get a cranky toddler who'd had 3 Christmases in 3 days home to bed. But my cux, his dad and GF stuck around for a while, few drinks and a couple a games of pool, the new juke box cranked up via bluetooth from my phone.
Very pleasant day, but glad I don't have to do it again for 12 months.
