Then in the afternoon I got a text from her that she'd just had a shower and some more detail about how clean she was.
I read the text thinking WTF, I think she may have sent this by mistake, when the phone rang. Yep, she sent me the text by mistake, was meant for someone else and would I please delete it. How Embarrassment.
In between laughing, I assured her I'd delete it (which I did)
I hope she enjoyed date arvo. |

I don't think men will be complaining if this catches on.
The possible rise in back injuries is a concern though. _________________ In goats we thrust. |

As is already the case at your local swimming pool. You do get that theres a difference between a transgender girl with all the paperwork, therapeutic work and experience of living as a girl that entails and someone waking up one morning and deciding to be female for fifteen minutes, right?
This is an insidious scare campaign that reflects far more on the prurience (and perhaps, in some cases, sexual fantasies) of those who raise it than anything that actually happens when transgender people use a bathroom or changeroom. _________________ "Pence must know that his frantic acts of abusing the sacred Olympics for confrontational ruckus are as foolish and stupid an act as sweeping the sea with a broom" North Korean newspaper |

^ Again, not something that people would do lightly. And we're mostly talking about children here anyway (I'm not sure what the involvement of 18-25 year olds is in the Girl Guides, but I'm guessing they're mostly staff?). This focus on showers and toilets with all the media and public fantasies about male-born trans girls being little more than characters from Porky's; or about there being an army of horny young men waiting in line to spend their days filling out forms and dressing/presenting as women, with all the associated stigma, just to be able to shower with girls really trivialises the experience of being transgender and the challenges that entails, I think. And yes, I think there's a bit of Freudian projection going on there, too.
Please note that I haven't, actually, screamed 'transphobia' at you. I just think you're greatly overblowing the likelihood of harm and not focusing on why policies like these are actually important and beneficial. _________________ "Pence must know that his frantic acts of abusing the sacred Olympics for confrontational ruckus are as foolish and stupid an act as sweeping the sea with a broom" North Korean newspaper |
