I think we need to add some KP options to the list before this period is over. Only 5 primary listed players >195cm and one of those is yet to play a game.
Our talls (or arguably (almost) talls >=190cm):
Cox 211/108
Grundy 203/102
Moore 201/98
Lynch* 200/97
McLarty 197/91
Reid 196/98
Goldsack 193/93
Oxley 193/85
Dunn 192/102
Wills 192/87
De Goey 191/91
Pendlebury 191/91
Scharenberg 191/88
Sier (uncontracted) 191/89
Langdon 190/86
Crisp 190/91
Howe 190/88
I found it odd that Pendles and De Goey have same height/weight given their body shapes look very different to me.
Brooksby 197/99, Hansen 197/98 and Jaksch 195/90 shape as cheap options. _________________ All We Can Be |

Josh Smith 2017

Becoming clearer that the Club is weighing these guys up against the cheap trade options (eg Murray) and potential delisted FAs (eg Brooksby, Hansen, Mullett etc).
I'm guessing Sinclair and Ramsay injuries not helping their cause. That aside, my priorities would be Sinclair, Ramsay, Smith, Blair and Sier. _________________ All We Can Be |

Whereas Sier who is basically the same size as them both is built like a sherman tank. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I'm interested on anyone's thoughts on the following scenario ?
Dockers now have pick 2 and 5.
I'm confident the first four picks will be mids but I'm not sure what to think the dockers will do with 5 ??
My point is, if the Dockers go with a tall, it might be that IF Collingwood were planning to go with a tall, they may now have to consider plan B ( the second best tall ) because I have a feeling that dockers may go with the first tall of the draft at five.
Any thoughts on the Dockers second pick at five ?
I'm going with a tall ( unless they are scared off by the go home factor )
They may also go with Hayes as a super promising ruckman. That would suit us fine if they went that way. |

No one goes for tall/ruckmen in the early part of the draft these days. Need to be an athletic type like Moore to go early.
So bet your bottom dollar that Hayes won't go in the top 5. |

Hmmm.... Picks 2 and 5? I reckon they'll go with Thomas & Pendlebury. |

Collingwood has officially nominated Tyler Brown as a father-son with paperwork lodged - now they wait for the bid https://t.co/tbRzLQToZa _________________ All We Can Be |

FWIW Hayes is not rated too highly by Knightmare, Twomey had him in top 10 ten as did Josh Elliot of the Roar.
I still want Bonar that is best available _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Great stuff. Hope we land the SOG, no other club tries to nominate him too early & we preserve our round three and four picks if that is possible. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Is this his ranking, or who he thinks the clubs should pick based on their needs?
Are the two Fogartys related? Hope the club know which is which .
Err... Just saw it stated that they're not related. (This dispels the notion that Darcy ate all of Lachlan's food.) |

I just wait for Emma Quayle. She is ridiculously good at getting the first round right ... and in correct order.
Which reminds me, for anyone who enjoys the politics and back room happenings of the AFL draft, her book " the draft " is a very good read.
Might even change a few Nicksters perceptions of what really goes on behind the scenes ( then again, it might not ) |
