He moved to Adelaide with Stubbs who was on our list and a good mate of his. They moved there together and Stubbs spent a year in the SANFL.
Seedsman was not "doing everything he should or could" off the field.
Moving out of the state was probably better for him than just going to the crows.
There's a bit unsaid there as I don't know every detail but enough that I wasn't unhappy about him leaving with the kids we had recruited.
Good luck to him, I actually want the crows to win today but don't think they will. |
Are you saying you had some inside info that made you concerned he'd be a bad influence on the kids, or just that the kids would be able to fill his on-field role? |

Seedsman has stated that he did not really understand what was required to get selected. In other words., it wasn't just posters here on Nicks who were confused by our selection choices. It was the players as well. Here is Seedsman's account of his experience:
“You’d do one thing and during the week you’re told to do something else. I really couldn’t tell you to be honest, it jumped around a bit and it’s a tough question to answer.”
Seedsman says that he did not know where he stood in regard to his future at Collingwood, because the messages were so mixed. This anxiety and the fact that his best mates (Heath Shaw and Dayne Beams) had left the club, were enough for him to seek his future elsewhere.
This article really disturbs me, because it kind of expresses what I feared was happening behind the scenes, but hoped wasn't. |
Paul "Sheepman" Seedsman. So he is influenced by standards that saw H Shaw moved on and Beams take the cash!! Hey Paul, you played only 2 matches during regular season and are only playing today because B Smith is out. Bit premature to do the "this is my life" big article spread with Sam "shit stirrer" Landsberger.
Myself and other hard core Pies fans know all of your football playing skeletons:
* the miss kicks inside 50
* the costly turnovers
* the putrid attempts in handballing
* the lack of training commitment

No it doesn't, if you can't be first your better off last in the AFL system. _________________ Genesis 1:1 |

Both but the influence and behaviour was what got him dropped.
Btw he was soft as butter today. Really is only a front runner. Needs the game in his terms. Compare him to Maynard who is much harder. _________________ "Even when Im old and gray, I wont be able to play but Ill still love the game"

I actually think we're not far off. If Richmond can win it this year without any key forwards and no second ruck, we can win it next year. Agree no more Mayne deals. More defensive pressure on the ball carrier and fewer defensive errors I can see us having a very good 2018. |

Shaw, Beams and Seedsman are an odd trio. The first two could probably get away with quite a bit because their performances on field were often elite. Seeds never had that buffer, so any 'laziness' was going to become an issue pretty quickly. It's a shame, I like the romance of a life-long supporter becoming a magpie champion. |

After today, you wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire.
It's all good and well to be mr.Johnny on the spot over there at Moron Park in SA, in front of all their idiotic ferals, but the MCG at the pointy end of September, is a step up from Anzac Day as well. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |
