Both sides are throwing everything at it, that's for sure. I also sometimes wonder how effective all the advertising/door-knocking is.

I've always wondered that when I get cold called - Svetlana from the Ukraine keeps wanting to marry me. In this case I'm decidely in the No vote.
I undersatand the No campaign is outspending the reasonable vote sorry Yes vote by 5:1. before the first postal votes were in.

For cold calls they can use an automated dialler. Just set the starting point (eg 0402 000 000) and if that doesn't answer it calls the next and the next and so on.
They could be doing the same thing with a text
