No mate, Treloar, like Buckley, got it wrong
If Bucks stays at Brisbane, he's a triple or even quadruple premiership player.
Treloar chooses Richmond, he's closer to a flag than at Eddiewood. |
Beat me to it!
Still glad we got both - as players anyway! _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

All good.

For some - Like Buckley and very few others - it was and is about playing for the team you love.
I've hired and fired enough people in my working life to say that some of you here are mercenary b*****ds and I wouldn't let you in the front door |

I wouldn't want to drive your taxis, so I guess I'm safe. |

I think Dangerfield's the better comparison to Buckley. _________________ Well done boys! |

I'm sure Treloar is very happy with his decision to come to Collingwood. He's well paid,he's playing for a coach he loves, and he gets his Septembers off as a bonus. What's not to like? |

My only regret with the Trelaor deal was what we paid for him
2 X 1st rounders was overs no matter how you spin it.
We got into a pissing match with Richmond and went all out to land him.
He's a very good player and his best years are in front of him for sure and he's our best chance to win a Brownlow going forward (umps like the flashy types) but on the balance of the ledger its overs.
If Dangerfield is worth pick 9 Trelaor ain't worth picks 6 & 7
If that's the new norm Josh Kelly will fetch the same as would Tom Lynch.
Heck Buddy may be worth 3 first rounders and swan and Pendles in there prime maybe 4
We wanted him badly and paid a supreme price.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing lord knows what we could have got through the draft with those 2 picks
I said it at the time and ever since it was overs and nothing will change my opinion on that |
