You're right. For many it's become something bordering an irrational obsession. He could single handedly cure cancer tomorrow and some would still find a way to spin it against him. |
People have no need to spin the truth against Trump as he does a great job of putting a nail in his own coffin most times he opens his mouth or fingers a phone with a tweet.
Trump simply doesn't understand that sitting atop an ivory tower giving orders as a company boss is totally different to being a President of a country where you work for the people, are answerable to all of them (not just supporters) and don't just get to do or say dumb things without being held to account in the court of public opinion.
Perhaps he should take a leaf out of his business playbook and declare bankruptcy of the moral kind. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

I believe this is a Trump thread. Alt right might be a place for red herrings but do try to stick to the thread. |
No probs : back to Trump.
Trump's beloved daughter Ivanka is a convert to Judaism.
His son in law is Jewish.
Leading members of his government are Jewish.
So your attempt to somehow like Trump with anti-semitic Nazis is fanciful.
As Stui said about Trump "For many it's become something bordering an irrational obsession". |
Again you miss the point. Through to the keeper.
The attacks on churches & synagogues in the US has occurred by the neo nazi right. They have become emboldened and enabled by Trump. The neo nazis at the rally were wearing support Trump T shirts. How much more of a link can there be? This is irrespective of who Trump's family is or is not. This is not difficult.
This is not to say Alt right are Nazi's or to say that Alt left are Stalinists. The simple fact of the matter is that Trump has enabled & emboldened neo nazis. Blacks in Churches have been joined by Jews in Synagogues due to the violence of the Neo nazis. Of course there is a link between Trump and neo nazis activity in the US. The link however is not causative as the Alt left suggests it is. However to deny any link is manifestly foolish if not wilfully ignorant. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

I'm still not sure what I think of this 'fictional character ranting' genre, but ol' mate Pie says some fairly insightful things about Trump here:

Moral questions aside, that could be as many as 15,000 people you've just basically fired via Twitter ... but that's the thing: he doesn't give a ****. |

At the moment....
There's probably a more general book on him leaving office (there are plenty of ways other than resigning). |

Perhaps he's interested in the senior coach role at Collingwood?
He's certainly qualified in f**king a place up. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

A "poll" of only 400 people with no relevant data and a question without any merit? I'm surprised they didn't shoot themselves rather than publish such unprofessional garbage. |

I feel like we learnt nothing from last year. None of the polls are trustworthy.
I still laugh at the fact that Huffington Post thought Hillary Clinton was a 98.1% chance of winning the election _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Interesting article from the BBC.
It suggests that despite the media onslaught his base has held firm.
The reason is because people don't so much like Trump as dislike the things he claims to be against (the media, the Washington elite, foreigners and political correctness).
