This boy is giving ruckmen a bad name. he's smart and articulate.
Great article on the Pies website about his visit to the NT earlier this year.

here's the opening bit
Quote: | The Australian Football League is undoubtedly a business. The game of Australian Football, though, is so much more. It is vitally human and beneath the cloak of its corporate identity an earthier, richer creation.
If you move beyond the metrics of commercial success; ticket sales, membership numbers and TV viewership, there is a place where glorious intangibles exist – gratitude, spirit and hope, for example.
When I consider my life in football, or more precisely the education I have received in it, it is my exposure to these ideals that have had the most influence on the person I am beyond the boundary.
My trip to the Northern Territory with Collingwood for a community camp in February this year was a part of our commitment to develop football programs in remote indigenous communities. I arrived thinking that I would be the one to pass on knowledge and expertise. I left, four days later, as the one profoundly wiser for the experience. |

I know, right?
I mean, you've worked hard on that stereotype in our posting 22 for year after year after year, then some caring understanding new type comes in and wrecks the whole thing.
Kids these days. No respect...

He's no crackers keenan, that's for sure, but I didn't invent the stereotype, just perfected it.
Without us big blokes in the guts, these glorified hobbitts who get all the accolades would be nothing. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
