Changes for this week:
Out Pendles - In Wills.....deserves his chance
Out Thomas - In Greenwood....Thomas unlucky but a bit too vanilla. Greenwood offers a bit more toughness, a tagging option and as a forward.
Out Blair - In Kirby....Can't finish in bottom 4 and only debut one player so far. Kirby offers more future wise than Blair who is not good enough to play midfield or as small forward....just 13 possession last week and hasn't learnt from costing us the GWS game that you cant slide in and take the legs out of opponents.
Kirby will benefit as a 3rd small forward behind Elliott and Fasolo.
Play Adams off Half Back in a sweeping role like Hodge.
Try Maynard on the wing, we need players who can kick it deep forward before the opposition floods back.
Play De Goey and Wills in the middle and Treloar on the wing rather than centre given he is not 100% fit. We should rest him but we wont so at least look after him..... |

I'd like to see Maynard get an extended run in the mid-field.
He'll make a few mistakes (has had a big couple of weeks there), but with Crisp, Varcoe and Howe now potentially down back, I'd like to see how his aggression and run straightens us up. |

Thomas kicks goals. Would have had one more last week had Fasolo passed it to him rather than taking a risker shot that he did (but drilling it nevertheless) _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Is Adams off Half Back in a sweeping role like Hodge a game or a musical instrument? |

Thomas is getting better with each game. Kicked a vital goal in the last quarter. He offers something a bit more than some of the one paced mids we have in the side. If Greenwood gets his spot back there's another one paced mid back in the side. Thomas therefore has to keep his spot in the team. |

Hard to make too many changes to a winning side apart from those that are forced.
Pendles a definite out and Treloar under a cloud but will we rest him to get him right?
First 2 cabs off the rank to come back in are Levi and Philips I would think.
Blair a possibility if he was only included to give him his 150th...
Thomas has done nothing to warrant being dropped. |

FYI, Blair played his 150th last weekend. |

Thomas has been good, surely Blair and Pendles are the outs....I'd add Langdon to that list, but doubt he will be dropped.

This is a game we are capable of winning just depends on which team turns up.
Pendles out is huge even injured his been among our best. Hopefully he only misses the 1 game.
Ins and outs could be anything this week but I'm guessing will only be the basics.
Out Pendles (inj) Blair
In Wills Greenwood
I would play Greenood as a HHF and tell him to basically tag Hearn who is one of there main set up guys.
Wills goes to Gaff again tag him hard
JDG plays on the ball the whole game.
Hopefully with a dry track we can play like we did in the first term last week using slick quick ball movement into our forward line
Blair just didn't do enough to keep his spot over Greenwood and we need more pressure around the ball hence why Wills gets a game |

Langdon is fine. Blair should not have played last week. Even by VFL standards the previous week, Aish was bog and is the one who should have played, not Blair.
Since I have no faith in the selection process at Collingwood, I have no idea who gets their turn this weekend. |
