Kind of book ends Buckley's reign as Coll coach, really. Another injury to another star. _________________ Est. 2002 |

Get him the surgery then put him on ice for the year. I'm guessing it's not just a finger that's been causing him hassles for the past few weeks. No point in killing him for a nothing season. Get him right for 2018 and beyond.
Side note now we have 3 vice captains which one becomes Captain in place of Pendles ?
I'm guessing Adams most likely youngest of the 3 and looks a likely leader type |

Although I love Pendles this is a great opportunity for us to change our Captain, honestly Pendles isn't up to it.. it doesn't suit his style. I honestly don't know who? But whomever is hard enough at it, smart enough and forward enough personality wise to take the mantle. _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |

i agree, id love to see pendles concentrate on just playing footy. i also think its a brillaint opportunity for him to get all the niggles done,

Rest Pendles for the rest of season, bring in Daicos or Brown, play a few more debutants now, see what they offer ! _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

I love the romance of playing Brown and Daics, but they are both midgets and not what we need. We currently have too many short arses as it is. We need some serious size and physicality around the packs.
I'd prefer to see Rupert Wills come in to wreak havoc at centre bounces, with his bulk and ferocious tackling. |

Agree give Rupe a chance to show what physical intimidation can achieve - doesn't need to be thuggery - blatant physical INTENT is enough to make many hear footsteps. |

It's also an opportunity to give De Goey more responsibility as a leader in the midfield. Tell him, he has to 'be the man' in the captain's absence. It might just be the making of him. |

Remember another time (against Cats) Bucks and Burnsy called Jordan in and said "You are going to be main mid against Geelong)

I know this was a massive long shot anyway, but there goes any hope of a Brownlow this year.
