Anyone else enjoy Broomhead's performance today? I thought it was a big step up for him today. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

He was very good with some slick in close handball, but he is too easily pushed off the ball and he lacks explosive pace for such a skinny player. _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

Best game for the club today. The stronger bodies we need are not him. They are the positions between the goal line and the centre bounce. |

He is ok on his non preferred side and we certainly don't have many of those.
When you're pick 20, you aren't drafted as the perfect footballer but he has upside and is starting to look like he belongs.
Durability is the issue. |

Yes agreed.
Best game he has played for the club by some margin I suspect.
There is a lot of potential for him to be a gun player in 2-3 years. _________________ kymbo |

Best game for the club. Looks to have good vision, took on and hit a few difficult passes today. |

Hmm. I'll have to watch the replay. I didn't come home with flattering opinion on Broomy. The few things I noted were crosses. Clearly I missed his better work. |

Must have been watching a different game.
My opinion of his day is vastly different to yours. |

I've been saying if he doesn't perform this year, it's time to let him go. I thought he was terrific today, quicker than I thought and as other posters stated his hands in close were fantastic.
More of the same in two weeks please. _________________ "Still waiting for your call Caroline ... not a quote in sight. Don't ever presume to speak on Collingwood's behalf," |

As I said. I'll reserve my judgement till I watch the replay. My eyes arent great these days and struggle to see all the inside work from top deck. But I did pick a few things I didn't like when on my side of the ground. So they stick with me. |

Yep I thought he was very good. Will develop in to a clearance specialist long term _________________ Brown re his GF omission:

Loved his second quarter performance.
I thought he was one of the key reasons why we played so well at that stage of the match. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |
