I NEVER complain about umpires but we were absolutely crucified all day and even when the game was on the line. Very disappointed that we didn't get the four points but a lot to like in our performance. _________________ 'Collingwood are the Bradmans of Football'

Absolutely!! Goddam shame they can't tell the difference between holding the ball and the ball being dragged in underneath a player. |

When I saw whoever marked it in the middle and then handball it off to Adams to kick it into f50 I thought straight away - nooooo anyone but him and yes of course a crap delivery but de Goey needs to learn to mark out in front. |

And yes. To further my point. The main thing that stood out today were the brain explosion holding the ball decisions. It just ruins what was a great game. Not good enough at this level. _________________ Being at the 2010 GF victory was such a special moment. |

Could have been 6th, but we're now 11th.
Don't know what else to say.
Umpiring at the end was terrible and cost us. But we should never have let them back in.
It's hard to objectively rate individual performances so soon after such a disappointing loss. I thought Brown did well enough on debut, and I'm looking forward to seeing him again. Langdon a touch off the pace, but that's to be expected after being rushed back in due to injuries. Broomhead and Levi really stood up today. Smith tried hard but got caught trying to break lines too often in my opinion. Pendles was well tagged and barely impacted. Everyone else put in a standard performance, generally played ok.
I'm really starting to be concerned re Moore. One thing I've noticed in recent weeks when they show the replays of his marks (or near marks, in most cases) is that his eyes are always closed. Every time. |

Every single decision went their way, especially in that last quarter. It definitely cost us the game.although we let them back in with some incredibly dumb football. |

I've never seen umpires panic so much towards one side in the last 5 minutes. Yeah they missed some Melbourne ones too, like the Treloar one late, but seriously, how do you pay it against one side but let it go when its the other team, consistently, for a game. That takes effort and concentration to achieve. _________________ Get back on top. |

Exactly!!! If they were going to make poor decisions, they needed to be even handed about it! |

Umpiring was effy..but not the reason we lost...gave up 29 points with too much ease...not unhappy with how we played. ..just another example of how we desperately miss having another quality tall and crumber is attack....off season must...ban on more mids. _________________ "To know nothing of events before your birth, is to forever remain a child" - Cicero (Roman Lawyer/Senator) 46 BCE. |

Come on folks as if they're gonna let Melbourne lose the game with Neil Daniher in the crowd.
Of course they're gonna help 'em get up!

Umpiring was disgusting.
Bucks and Club must ask for an explanation. |

Me neither. Another blight on the game.

Yep, I very rarely say/think it, but the umpiring did cost us the game, especially that decision against Levi Greenwood in the last few minutes. |
