Help: About Cricket in 2004

Hey people!
For christmas i would like to buy my mum and dad tickets to a one day match at the MCG sometime in January/February time. December is too early to get Dad off work.

Do any of you know of any one day matches that have Australia playing at the MCG around that time? And if you do, where i could buy the tickets? I have a ticketek at Chirnside and a Ticketmaster at Eastland if that helps!

If you need to know anything else please tell me, coz i havent got much time!

Oh and on the ticketmaster site they have stacks of tickets for:

Australia vs. Zimbabwe in the VB series on 29th January.

and also:

Australia vs. India in the VB series on 9th January.

Is that the Australia with like Ponting and Gilchrist and stuff, or a different one because it says something about the bushrangers?

Lol i dont know too much about Cricket, but my parents love it!

Lis, the Oz v. India and Zimbabwe are the ones you're looking for. Yes, they are the ones Gilly and Ponting will be in.

The Bushrangers are the Victorian team. They play the other states.

I think i'll go with the one against Zimbabwe as its on the 29th January and gives my parents plenty of time to get off work etc...

Im pretty sure im going to Eastland on Saturday, so i will get them then!
