I love the way we get the wheat from GWS, and Carlton take the chaff.

We pay a lot more for the privilege. I would have happily taken Pickett and/or Marchbank if we had the option. Time will tell.

Marchbank looks like becoming a great player for Carlton. Not sure about Pickett though - just being a high draft pick doesn't make you a great player.

Well yes, Marchbank may be okay; but thought he gifted the tiggers a few goals last week, despite the ch.muppet commentators raving about him.
Pickett might have some x-factor, and certainly a better prospect than their oompa-loompa cast-offs from previous trade periods.

Not in the Same League as Adams and Treloar and WHE could be better

agree. He touches it 15 times a game and it feels like something good is coming every time. he is a stud!!

Mayne also showed why he is worth his spot in the side.

2 good off season recruits.

Let's see if Wells can make it 3 for 3.

Let's say Wells, Elliot, Langdon, Dunn and Scharenberg in for Smith, Blair, Maynard, Ramsey and Schade. That is going to be a side you are going to like.

One of the few highlights of the team at the moment.

Created a terrible turnover that resulted in a Richmond goal in the second quarter, but apart from that he was very good in a team void of class.

I thought WHE played very well at times and I gave him votes. His game was a curious mix of chocolates and boiled lollies, though - he cost the team at least 2 or 3 goals with appalling turnovers caused by kicking errors but also did some very fine things. I guess my view, on balance, is that he could be a good player for us going forward if he can eliminate the occasionally-poor field-kicking from his game.

When he was moved forward it provided a spark. Great move and at least we got something out of last night.

Hopefully will spend more time up forward.
