CUT THE GUY LOOSE
0-1
I have as much coaching success as Bucks. End the farce.
Wake up!!!
Full squad. What injuries did we have? It's all DeGoey's fault... |

Seriously? Your gonna name these guys when we smashed them in all the stats that matter? FFS. These excuses never flew for MM. Christ sake the board wanted MM gone after like round 3 2002. And we gifted a great KPP in Cloke to the dogs. Greenwood and Sinclair don't get game anywhere
Else.
Injuries just never flew when MM or Matthews was in town. It's all we talk about with Nathan as Coach. It has to end. We can't beat top 4 teams. We can't even compete against top 4 teams. Find someone that can |

You asked a question about injuries and I merely answered who's on our injury list.
In no way did I disclose my opinion on the coach one way or another. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

No worries mate. Keep just answering my questions and nominating Sinclair and greenwood like they are $£$%^%%$ future Brownlow winners. Oh and throw wells in the pile too... Mediocrity reigns
Seriously, we $£$%^%%$ smashed the dogs tonight in all key statistical indicators. And at no point did we ever threaten to win the game. Are you seriously happy with that?
Clueless indeed |

Buckley is coaching for his career next week against Richmond. If he starts 0 - 2, there is no coming back. Sydney in Sydney, Saints in Etihad. He will be 0 - 4.
The media will smell his sacking.
As for last night, you swap Beveridge with Buckley and Collingwood win last night. 20 extra inside 50's, 20 extra clearances.
9 times of 10 you win with that dominance. And it isn't because of bad kicking. |

Yeah it's a must win next week. History says you dont make finals if your 0-3.
FFS I am over these honourable losses. We lost because of a dysfunctional forward line and our inability to hit simple targets under no pressure, same shit different year.
It might be good enough to beat the lower and middle teams but doesn't stack up against the quality teams.
If Kirby keeps kicking goals in the VFL I'd be rushing him into the seniors even if he can only run 100m. He is the type of player our forward line is screaming out for. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

Not fussed if we lose to Richmond next week. Not even fussed if we lose the next one and go 0-3 into round 4.
Doesn't mean Buckley can't coach, but we need to get our best team on the park.
If we get the process right the wins will follow, but we need to get a few issues sorted out and it might take a few VFL games to work out our best team.
To last night we learned a few things that will help us longer term:
WHE - tick
Mayne - tick
Phillips - tick
Our midfield even without DeGoey, Wells and Greenwood - tick
Howe in the backline - tick
Ramsay and Maynard - keep pumping games into them and tick
Schade - has some good attributes, but doesn't get enough of the ball and isn't a good decision maker. Do we persist with him or play Dunn instead?
Grundy and Cox - Cox's failure to grab marks in the forward line is a worry, but his ruck work means that he can cover for Grundy if Grundy needs a rest
Fasolo - tick, but needs help. Elliot provides the run and carry when fit. We need crumbers. The Bulldogs have crumbers. We don't and that's why we lost last night.

It took Bux 5 years to work out not to micro manage the players.
He had to go to Stanford Uni last year to find that out.
I could have sent him the Management 101 booklet and it could have saved him the airfare.
I have been told that Bux's Game Plan B is arriving via the Cape of Good Hope but it is in a bottle and it might take a few more years before it washes up on our shores.
Remember that TV show ..."the good years"
Well we are now in .. "The wasted years"
Pass me another can please... oh no ... better make it a slab.
I have to do this right. |

Some on this board have openly said on other threads that they think we may make the 8 yet still want Buckley sacked. Really?
So many alleged supporters who deep down want us to lose so their anti-buck campaign looks justified.
Its round 1 of a new year, we just lost a close game and calls already for his sacking. By that reasoning, there will be half of the AFL coaches sacked by Sunday (barring a draw).
Round one heroes can you all go to another bulletin board please. _________________ kymbo |
