I just want to make sure that the tool who designed the packaging for Coles Jasmine Rice doesn't go unrewarded for her, his or its efforts in designing packaging - and instructions for opening the packaging - that has as its sole purpose the distribution of tiny grains of rice all over, under and around one's kitchen. Won't be buying this brand again. In fact, I might boycott Coles completely. Just stupid beyond belief. I would rather they had emptied a scoop of rice into my hands at the store - there would have been more chance of me getting it home and into the rice cooker in reasonable order. |

That made me laugh so much, emptying a scoop into your hands
Scissors didn't work? To just, you know, snip a corner off & pour out? What the hell sort of packaging was it?
And lol at swoop's response |

I don't see how the homeless could benefit - even if this were to be broadened to be available to people who aren't parliamentarians, you still have to have two houses to qualify. |

It is because they are monks . The expats here are in disbelief. On a similar and equally disturbing practice stray dogs are dumped at temples and people feed them. They are never spayed, wormed or vacinated. Even in residential streets they are tolerated. Western vets want to help but have to get a work permit.
The father of Tukky my poodles latest pups is a Chihuahau and it was stolen by some Cambodian farm hands from my girlfriends mums yard and BBQd. _________________ Annoying opposition supporters since 1967. |

Quote: | EXCLUSIVE: The big man from an outback Queensland service station called the woman into his office for a talk. She was wearing a white dress and had an English accent he couldnt place. Shed just filled up with $103 worth of unleaded and gone in to explain she couldnt pay.
It was not the money he was worried about.
It was her.
Her eyes were blackened and her cheeks were swollen. She was talking through tears, but her story was not clear. She said she was on the way to inland Charleville, to be with friends.
She was battered, said the man, who manages the Puma fuel stop in the township of Banana, 600km northwest of Brisbane.
What he did not know was that the woman, 22, a backpacker from Liverpool, was on the final day of 1600km four-day road trip to hell, allegedly repeatedly raped, assaulted and threatened with death if she cried out for help.
As the woman recovers in Brisbane after undergoing surgery for facial fractures, the manager told how the womans ageing white Mitsubishi Pajero pulled in on the morning of Sunday, March 5, six or seven hours prior to her being rescued by Mitchell police after a second fuel drive-off later that day.
The manager, who cannot be identified because his partner is a dealing with domestic violence issues involving another person, became upset as he recounted having misread the situation.
He did not see her alleged attacker and thought the woman had already escaped from whoever had hurt her.
He thought she had made it.
But she was not alone. |
