Congratulations to Dangerfield on his Brownlow.
Congratulations also to Adam Treloar on polling the highest vote from Collingwood. 21 votes from 22 games. Not a bad return for his first year in black and white, off a compromised pre-season.
Big thanks to stoliboy for manning the tally board for us tonight (and to piedys for providing his own patented brand of special comments down the home stretch ). Much appreciated! _________________ I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat. |

Treloar, 21 votes, equal FIFTH in the entire AFL. Nah, not worth 2 x first rounders...🙄 _________________ Est. 2002 |

Thanks Bat, and congrats to Dangermouse for winning maggot-lotto 2016.

Well worth it by the end of round 23. But we are still bleeding from the arse for him.
Consider again, that Geelong paid LESS for tonights winner, Dangerflog, and that deal went through first, setting what should have been the precedent. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

Not bad for a player who had 'surprisingly' little impact this year. |

Treloar could well be a dual Brownlow medallist, a real gem we have here. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

We said that same thing about Pendles years ago; always too many other players taking votes away from you, particularly when the team is winning.
Yet Treloar is indeed the Great White Hope. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

Yeah, we're bleeding with 2 x unknown 17-18 year old players vs a ready made top 5 Brownlow vote getter in his first season in B&W coming off no pre season. Would you rather Scharenberg and Freeman or Treloar? Cos that's the unknown you play with. _________________ Est. 2002 |

Well done to Treloar Pendles and Grundy
Treloar equal 5th a great result really in a side who's first half of the season could be described as ordinary some what lol
As for the Treloar deal a player is worth what someone is willing to pay. Don't forget those limp wristed toothless wonders from {€nt road chased him hard as well and forced us into paying a little more than we may have had to otherwise. Also the comparison with Dangerfield isn't right Dangerfield was a unrestricted free agent with over 8yrs service so they only got a pick marginally up from what they paid (drafted with pick 10 received pick 9) |

According to Buckenara's list analysis last week, Treloar is only a B grader. Pretty good for a B grader to finish 5th in the Brownlow. He also said Adams and Treloar are the same type player and Broomhead's disposal is poor.
Gary do your research, which would actually involve watching Collingwood play football. You got all three of them wrong, Treloar clearly A grade, Adams and Treloar not even close to alike and Broomhead is an elite user of the ball. |
