Good choice, I'd have picked the same.
He lives in Brisbane already and is more likely to get a game there than at Collingwood or GWS (who said they had spoken to him in recent weeks and were keen to draft him)
200cm, very agile, fast and aggressive in the air and on the ground. I reckon he'll play a few games at Brisbane.
I hope we rookie list the kid who came second, Daniel Cox. Little indigenous small forward, has everything we lack. Needs to grow up a bit more but is on a serious upward trend maturity wise. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

he lives like 10 mins from the gabba.
Sounds like this whole show was rigged from the start to me. |

In his defence, he'll probably play round one 2017 seniors!l at Brisbane. |

Apparently his dad is a Collingwood supporter.
Must be a "perceptive fellow". |

That was part of their pitch to him.
Also the fact they had no real ruck stocks once Stefan Martin wasnt there, so he'd make their seniors pretty easily.

I guess he's close to guaranteed at least one game. We have Grundy, White, Cox...Maric... |
The comments that this could be his last shot at AFL would have made Brisbane more appealing being that they had really no one ready to take over from Stefan Martin as their other ruckman was still very young.
I think the guaranteed AFL footy was the main selling point. _________________ Ðavâgé

Could have been easily countered if Gubby had have let him know Jesse White is our no.1 CHF and 2nd ruck. |

Could he be the first "Recruit" to actually get a game? More chance now that he's at the Lions. _________________ Well done boys! |

I watched the series. From the small portions of actual football that was shown Daniel Cox did look interesting. Explosively quick, agile, good skills on both feet. Potential enormous upside. Actually, now that I think about him a bit more, if the speculation is true that's not what we need. What we need and want are experienced players (look at the video, how good they were 4 or 5 years ago).We can't get enough of them. I read somewhere that a turd polishing room has been set up next to the hyperbaric chamber. |

Wise choice to pick Brisbane. He'll have more opportunity to break into the team than at Collingwood or GWS.
For this kid's sake, I hope his career doesn't come to an abrupt end like it did for Johann Wagner at Port Adelaide. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Oh goody - then we can have that dangerous forward combo of Big Cox and Little Cox. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |
