Just watched the Steelers at Philly game from Monday. The Eagles were very impressive. Wentz looks like he may have the potential to be a genuine star at QB and their defensive line went through the Steelers like a knife through butter. It's a long season and injuries and depth play a huge part but the Eagles look like a genuine contender at the moment. It will be interesting to see them against the Vikes in 3 weeks. For the record, that was the first time in over 18 years that the Steelers had been beaten by 31 or more. |

^^^ and that seems to have been the kiss of death for the Eagles. Dallas are killing it in the NFC East, although they've lost twice to the Giants, who are snapping at their heels. Meanwhile, the NFC North is going down to the wire: if the Vikes do the right thing at Lambeau on Christmas Day (our time), the final game between Green Bay and Detroit will decide who wins the Conference - if it's Green Bay, expect them to go to the SuperBowl.
Genuine contenders in the NFC are probably Dallas, Giants, Seahawks, Falcons, based on what I've seen. Dallas v Giants would be a deserving NFC Championship game, IMO. Green Bay is always a chance, led as they are by the second-greatest throw of a football in the history of the NFL, but there's a bit of a prospect one of Rodgers' limbs will fall off before the playoffs, given all the injuries he's carrying. Anyway, the Pack's defence is mostly dismal, so Rodgers probably has to score 3 or 4 TDs per game for them to make any impression.
In the AFC, the Pats, Steelers, Oakland and the Chiefs look up to it (although one of Oakland and the Chiefs must start as a wild card, since they're in the same division). |

Eagles 24, Giants 19. So, without throwing a tackle in anger, the Dallas Cowboys will finish atop the NFC and have home-field advantage in the playoffs. Meanwhile, Green Bay have snuck into 6th place, at least temporarily - also without taking the field. |

Browns win finally....well done Browns, especially after conceding 9 sacks
Jags fire the worst coach in modern history and....win. Gus was just a disgrace as a coach...Not many coaches can enter the season with a .250 winning percentage after 3 years and fail to improve on it!!!! _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

Dallas thrashed Detroit today. Green Bay is presently 4th in the NFC but next Sunday Night's final round will decide that place. Chances are that Green Bay will slip out of the top 6 and miss the playoffs if it can't beat Detroit in Detroit. |

I'm starting to feel the butterflies in the stomach. 12 hours from now I'll be hyperventilating. Go Pack, go. But, just in case, go everybody else necessary for the Packers to grab the last wildcard playoff spot if Rodgers and Nelson can't pull off a Motown Miracle. |

So, the AFC will finish the regular season:
Pats
Chiefs
Steelers
Texans
Raiders
Dolphins
Meanwhile, final rankings await the last game between Detroit and the Packers but both Green Bay and Detroit have made the playoffs, thanks to Washington's loss to the Giants. However, Dallas will finish first, Atlanta second, the Seahawks third and the Giants 5th. The game between Green Bay and Detroit will decide which of them finishes 4th and which 6th. |

The 49ers have sacked Chip Kelly. Gary Kubiak has retired from the Broncos (for health reasons, it seems). |

Rodgers has just thrown his 39th TD pass for the season and, remarkably (given all his career accolades), will be the NFL's leading TD passer for 2016. |

And there, ladies and gentlemen, is TD number 40. And a 2-point conversion into the bargain. Packers by 14 with 2m and 50s to go. |

Micah Hyde intercepts Stafford at the goal line to win it for Green Bay. Green Bay will finish 4th and play the Giants at Lambeau Field. Meanwhile the Lions will go to Seattle. |
