Last night was yet another example of how futile it is to go into a game with this energy wasting tactic.
By all means if one of our players gets sniped then respond.
But to me, bullies are ALWAYS either cowards or energy wasters for themselves, directing negative energy can never end positively...
If another team started at us like that, I would instruct the players to just smile/smirk/laugh or say "is that the best little bruise ya got? Try harder, you might get 3 weeks and a 5k fine...
Get inside the head...

I remember how angry Iwas watching that final against Port Power in 2013
when Heata manhandled a Port player in front resulting in a free and goal

Buckley has a lot to answer for here. He built the game up where he talked about finals intensity and made it a game that Noorf had to win at any cost.

The previous week Port made them look slow. Last week Noof mad us look slow. We had young kids attempting to out muscle older and more experienced players. It was a no win situation for us.

If Buckley has made his principle tactic to limit the opposition scoring in the first quarter which has been a major issue in recent weeks we may have had a chance at winning the game. I must admit that I personally thought that Buckley was smarter than this.

To be fair to Marly he hardly touched Thomas but should have known the cnut is a chronic diver. Umps sucked in as much as anything.

I thought was about how we tackle after the ball is gone! Another dumb tactic.
I was pissed off watching the, try and go tough against such a bully, more experienced, bigger bodied side, just a waste of time.

Seriously, does anyone want to sit through another year of this? Where is the light at the end of the tunnel?
