Dumb Move by Club.
White is really just Depth and Not really Good Enough for AFL.
Blair only there until we find someone better. Blair should of got 1 year instead of 2

When was the last time the Club did anything that could be remotely considered smart?
The succession plan?
The Social Club?

I wonder whether trying to sign White up for next year is a hint that
the club wants to move cloke on or whether clokey wants to move
himself on.

Yes it was smart. Players at 23 of Treloar Calibar don't come up very Often

Well DTM I am not convinced that Treloar is a top elite talent.
Last night Wells tore us to pieces.
The guy has the X factor.
Don't think Treloar has much X factor at all.
He racks up a heap of disposals but so far he doesn't hurt the opposition.
The last 2 weeks have been a perfect example of what I am talking about.
Last night with one kick he couldn't even make 40m.
We gave up 2 top 10 draft picks for him.
That is a huge price.
We traded out of the top talent of the 2016 draft for Treloar, Aish and Howe.
So next year we will not get much in terms of new highly rated talent.
I don't see it as being very smart.
Average trade at the moment in my opinion.

Seeing as we are talking contract extensions, please don't extend Cloke's. Not his fault but %$^£$%^&%% paying him $800K a year, guess he gets the last laugh.
If anyone is interested which I seriously doubt, swap for a young key forward who can kick straight would be a good start.
2016 done and dusted, look forward to hopefully Elliot, Ramsay, Swanny and possibly Scharenberg in 2017 at this stage hard to get excited.
Felt pretty much the same this time last year. Our skills are just appalling at times. Disappointing year as I was quite bullish about this year, expectation leads to disappointment rings very true.

Our fans, coaching panel and club tolerate "good ordinary players". Have for 60 years. Until we "go postal" on dud kicks we shall never improve.

Apparently the Eagles were sniffing about, probably looking to partner Kennedy up and go as a dual pronged full forward attack...best to sign him up on 2 and keep the vultures away, the Club has had enough turmoil and heartache recently without losing a first-chosen regular
