Are you talking about Sinkers or your view of sinkers. I think many people on this board remember his first three games where a very nervous kid missed a couple of easy sausage rolls. I haven't seen those problems since, but a lot here haven't been able to get over that early perception. |

Has improved greatly but with a skull made of paper mache I'm feeling he should start looking at the Phil Narkle lid or give it away. |

No direct head contact = concussion. Has to be a concern for both Club and, more importantly, him. _________________ All We Can Be |

Needs to give the game away.
It is not worth your health to keep playing.
Please please give it up. _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

This is really concerning, firstly for the boy himself. He's already had too many concussions and it is early in his career. Secondly, because as someone said above, there was no head-high contact, which suggests that the problem is structural. Maybe he has a large cranium relative to brain size (no, I'm not being funny - it is the room for the brain to move inside the skull that creates the damage). If so, it could well be career-ending. In any event, i would not want to see him back again this year.
Finally, it's very concerning for us as he has been our most effective line-breaking back this year. If he really is a goner, then that sets us back against our development curve. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

If that is the case, wearing a helmet won't help him unless it can absorb enough impact to stop the brain pinballing off the inside of the skull.
Can we stick an aerosol can of selley's space invading foam in his ear to create a barrier? _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

he's been to hospital and been cleared of any serious injury or concussion. if we continue with the conservative approach to managing players we should be calling time on his 2016 season and giving him a chance to be right for 2017. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

Fully agree JW. Said in the eagles thread he's benched for 2016.
It's not only the best thing for the player but the club and a duty of care for its employees.
I just hope he's going to be okay because at such a young age to be suffering head knocks and signs of concussions and having recurring issues its not a good sign.
Whatever his issue is we need to find out what it is and can it be fixed or is it better he walks away from the game and we employ him in some capacity at the club maybe as a members liaison or corporate game day host.
I like the kid don't know if he's going to be a very good player but showed enough to be given the chance |

^ I reckon he's already a good player, Qld. In our top ten and on course for our top 6. his line-breaking run off half-back is sorely needed, and his loss so early really hurt us yesterday. Josh Smith said as much on the Pies Net.
Completely agree, though - his future mental health is more important than any game. It is football, not war. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

I'm even more worried, now. There was nothing in his eyes when he got up from that tackle. Have a look at the photo on the CFC website. If that was not concussion, then it was a Martian invasion. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

Are you referring to this photo, Mugwump?
