Apparently most are still using the ones they used to. I told junior to use the disabled if she's not comfortable with it.
How about if they do it in shopping centres? What if you get a gang of thugs in the ladies? Talk about intimidating.
Wrong just $£$%^%%$ wrong. Genuine transgender can use their, um, new gender toilet, so why is. This necessary?
ICAN tell you now if I was shopping and there was guys in the toilets, I'd use the disabled one. Sue me! |
Here's an interesting article about how we came to have men's and women's toilets in the first place:

Didn't read the article but an interesting side note. While I was in San Francisco, I went to use the public toilets at fisherman's wharf. The female toilet was closed for some reason and they had a row of portable dunnys outside, none of which seemed too appealing to the female contingent. So , one by one, they started to venture into the mens. I was in there taking a slash at the urinal when one walked in, straight past me and into the cubicle quickly. No big deal and no one made one of it. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Guess it's better than the portaloo and most of the cubicles in the men's dunny's are cleaner than those in the women's. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Yeah, gotta love the gulf states. Goes to show that you can have shiny towers and stone age social values all at once (so long as America has your back). _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

My Mum holidayed in Iran and they were great. I know it's not a 'Gulf State' in the sense meant here, but just some perspective. |

Yep, I think Iran is a very different (and much misunderstood) culture. They have plenty of their own social problems of course (not least of which is an extremely authoritarian theocratic government), but it feels like there's far more appetite for social change among ordinary people there. Getting the Ayatollah out of politics would be a great start. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

This could have also gone in the pissed off thread.
Been waiting for George Calombaros new joint to open in Williamstown hoping to sample what was labeled Greek- gastro pub food.
I had a hankering for a souva... Only to find they only serve crispy lambs brains or soft shell crab souvlaki.
Put the menu down and went to Nandos. |

I'm not sure I'd want gastro pub food if they had it! That kind of thing gives me the shits! _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |
