Pendlebury jnr was BOG. The game was won in defence, denying the opposition goals. It was a low scoring slug-fest. The team with the strongest defence won. Credit were it is due. |
Wasn't even the best in defense by quite a margin. Behind at least Kelly, Smith and Oxley, probably Brown as well. And that's without even considering the impact of the midfield.

I thought our whole backline were terrific. If i had to pick the best, I'd probably single out Brown. In fact, he was moving so well I was wishing he was lining up for us today instead of Frost.

I thought the same, Brown and Pendlebury were solid, Oxley is going from bad to worse and Goldsack is done.
Until Keeffe we see how returns or we through the Cloke book... I mean cheque book at Hurley there are slim pickings for a quality, strong backman

The big Rumour is Cloke to the Bears. I hope we get out of the contract and a player that can kick straight.

Couldn't even get a touch in the VFL this week. It's a "delist" from me.

Neither did Pendles, sack him.
And Buckleys bloody game plan didn't even get on the park
Though that could be a good thing

Terrible performance again tonight, only the leading goal kicker in the wet but his team mates clearly showed how much he sapped their confidence and how they can't stand him in the team. Never seen a player so ignored when he kicked a goal!
Will be best for the team if he gets traded, can't upset Collingwood's losing game plan like he did tonight
