Great effort - he's one guy that can change a game - knows how to kick a goal and never stops running.

I'm just mucking around. Steele is gold standard and I wish him another 150 outstanding games and at least one more premiership medal. |

Well Steel is made from iron and some other junk.....so you could argue he's made of metal just like gold....etc etc
Either way top job side butt.....keep punching! _________________ No Pressure, No Diamonds

A big game player… we just need more big games for Steele to prove what a champion he is!
Well done Steele for 150 games - half way there _________________ Love us or Hate us... we are Collingwood - you can't ignore the Mighty Magpies!!! |

Great to see you step up (again) against the form teams, Sidey. And great that the team stepped up with you.
For the record, 21 kicks, 10 handballs, 9 marks and 5 tackles.

Another top effort from a top player on game 150 - I recall some so called experts did not have Sidey in the top 50 at the start of the year… shame on them!
Sidey is a top player - one of the best… and he is ours _________________ Love us or Hate us... we are Collingwood - you can't ignore the Mighty Magpies!!! |

GOLD !!!!!!! |
Steel is actually an alloy, not a metal, so you're calling Sidebottom an alloy! |

Gold may have more value but I was making a weapon I'd make it out of Steele, not gold, _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I watched the replay and realised that I had underrrated him, and i had to go back and change my votes. He created goal after goal yesterday with his capacity to win 50/50 balls and then use to advantage. Even that majestic last running goal from Cox was really originated by Steele winning a hard ball at centre half back. Treloar's lovely running tap over the top to himself was also fantastic, but it was Sidey who did the unspectacular work that really made it possible. Such a star. He increasingly reminds of (a much fairer) Greg Williams - he just never stops running and raking in possessions and shaping games. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |
