the toilets are down 3 sets of stairs. to get to them you have to walk past the food que and also the alcohol que. then in the toilets there are like 3 or 4 toilets. it's so small in there. haven't been up stairs yet that will come on Saturday after the afl game. |

The toilet I used was out the back against the food delivery door. _________________ I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for. |

Glasshouse thus far has been one giant lemon. Wanted to use my Social Club membership to use the facilities when we played WC, was then asked to pay $55 for a burger!
Have family members who work in the hospitality industry and they said that price was typical of a venue run by 'The Big Group'. I asked in more detail and at other venues they have operated, they have priced the regular clientele out of those venues when they first took over so they could take complete ownership of those venues.
Seems to be what is happening at the Glasshouse. Will price regular members out of the market and then takeover fully. |

Strange, I can't remember any negative responses to the social club facilities coming from the members at the AGM. Does all this whinging come out after we lose a few AFL games? |

How does one complain about the new facilities when they aren't open and haven't hosted VFL or AFL game functions yet?
The new social club was only opened at the end of the last year so it's impossible to raise those concerns prior or at the AGM. |

that is where you are incorrect. typically, like many who enjoy potting the club your assertions and facts are wrong.
the social club was open for the vfl game against casey. there's a vfl game at the holden centre this saturday immediately after the carlton game. the social club should be open for that.
the agm was held in february this year. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

How does one raise concerns about the Social Club at the AGM (being held in Feb) when it is yet to host VFL games and AFL game day functions at the time of the AGM?
Are you telling me I can travel forward in time and report on how it goes hosting VFL games that occurred in April and then travel back in time to voice my concerns at the AGM in Feb? |

Don't worry Jez 99% of those educated in the english language knew what u meant.
Me thinks the pro-Buckley brigade should be spending their time working on their escape clauses rather than continue their attacks on new Collingwood supporting posters. |

Where was my invite to this event.
Did us members pay for this? |
Was watching Real Housewives of Melbourne the other night and they displayed footage of this event. Those bimbos all got an invite and were fighting and disgracing themselves at the event.
I have since learnt that a number of HOF members who have played over 200 games for the club weren't invited at the expense of these ring ins. It is sad that Eddie panders to his Toorak friends rather than the people who built this club. |

"The venue is part of the now complete transformation of Collingwood’s headquarters which is now called the Holden Centre - it includes a world class board room with incredible views, … "
"It was a proud McGuire who addressed the crowd after being introduced by his old friend Chyka Keebaugh, who along with her husband Bruce has created and will run the glamorous event space The Glasshouse." |

They aren't showing games there anymore due to a poor turnout in the first two games. Seems that the Big Group have done their job when they priced members out of the market.
The Big Group have their own function on Saturday night when it should be opened to Social Club members. |
