So now that assumptions are considered facts on nicks, is it fair to say that it's a fact a lot of facts are assumptions?
I'm just assuming this is the case ........so you can take that to the bank! _________________ No Pressure, No Diamonds

Bringing him back after one ok reserves performance is too easy. He needs perform over a number of games to get his spot back and then keep performing to retain it. |

But what if he should never have been out in the first place? |

Cloke needs at least 2 great VFL performances under his belt to win a recall. So far he hasn't had one. |

The game has changed and unfortunately it doesn't suit Cloke. This also makes the comparisons tough, less one-on-one battles won by the strong power forward.
He is simply never going to improve his goal kicking. Buckley was under extreme pressure to make a change, he simply couldnt leave things as they were. Pretty ballsy if you ask me. Had we lots Anzac Day with Cloke playing I'm not sure Bucks would have survived the week.
I'm not a fan of this modern speedy style of play that all the clubs are doing. It's as though everyone is playing with a Hawks gameplan, but only to moderate success. _________________ ------------

Yesterday was a good start.
Quote: | TRAVIS Cloke advanced his case for a senior return in Collingwood's VFL win over the Northern Blues on Saturday but the spearhead's performance was solid rather than brilliant, requesting rather than demanding a recall.
Playing his second consecutive VFL game after being dropped for the Magpies' Anzac Day clash against Essendon, Cloke was far more influential than he had been in the Pies' heavy loss to the Bombers' VFL team six days earlier.
Although he finished with just one goal, Cloke gave the Magpies a strong focal point all day against the Northern Blues, contesting hard inside the Pies' forward 50 despite being double-teamed in most marking contests. |

Give him a performance based contract.
$5000 for selection in the first 22.
$1000 for every goal scored.
$1000 deducted for every simple shot he misses.
$300 for every goal assist.
$300 for every tackle.
$300 for every contested mark.
$300 for every 1%er
$5,000 match day bonus for kicking 5 goals or more.
In 2018 give him the job as goalkicking coach! _________________ "And that effort by Ezard was pathetic" - Don Scott. |

He's got a way to go yet I reckon. A guy of his stature should be absolutely ripping it up in the ressies. Wyatt was a much better key forward for us yesterday. |
