Did you find the balls to tell him he can't coach?? Did you tell him he's taken us backwards?? Or are you only brave enough to say it here where Bucks has no right of reply ,especially to your anonymity?? |
No, I did give the lad a few tips on running patterns-body positioning etc, it held him in good steed for his career. _________________ Defender...........

I think he's talking about Bucks in his playing days. |

You Muppet!! It would've been pretty damn clever of him to tell Bucks he's a crap coach years before he started coaching?!! _________________ "If at first you dont succeed...

It's all good mate, Mudlark is a Qld lad iirc, probably wouldn't be familiar with the Tunnel, but then again Bucks being out with Willow may have provided a handy clue to when it was lol, was 20 years ago iirc.
Not many people can say they beat a Collingwood great at a 'sport', they were actually quite good but my offsider and I were excellent pool players, we hardly had to buy a beer for ourselves if the pub had a table. _________________ Defender...........

Also bumped into Tooves in the mcdonalds toilets at Torquay a couple years ago. Bit awkward to start a convo though! |
Yep round 8 2002, I went with a good mate of mine who was ex Fitzroy (not the same dude I went to the Tunnel with), was a $$%^%%$ epic battle, best game I've been too considering the circumstances, boys became men that night, it was the game we earnt our respect back. _________________ Defender...........

Can't say I ever made it to the tunnel back in the day. Santa Fe was good though on a Friday after work. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Ran into shaw in his coaching days at wet and wild, (we were shit at the time,) next year mr shaw I sat, hope so he says, and got sacked not long after.
Ran into Buckley in the street one day in the city, he was nice as he always is
Junior ran into Jamie one day, next thing they are hugging in the street, I had wedding invites already planned, haven't given up yet,
But the biggie was probably chrisgrant knocking on my door on Boxing Day to hire a baby capsule off me, man that knocked my sox off! I have pics with him and the kids in their jimjams, and when he returned it, he let me invite my bulldog mum over for pics too, lovely guy.
Had a chat with dougy Hawkins at a BBQ last year, he is a mates neighbour and bestie in Bacchus marsh! _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

Funny stories whilst at the Tunnel, witnessed Dunstal walk out with a hot lil number and literally walked back in 10 minutes later pulling his fly up.
Saw Nicky Winmar there at 4.45 one Saturday morning, he was BOG on the same day.
I picked up my drink off the side mantle surrounding the dance floor in the wee hours of the morning, some dude comes up and try's to take it from me, dude swears it's his drink, I told him to **** off and even offered to buy him a drink if he's so desperate, he refuses, Nek minnit my mate comes back and says, here's yank drink man lol. _________________ Defender...........

I had a brief meeting with a steak tomato & onion pie from the Molly Dene Bakehouse in Centre Road Bentleigh earlier today. One of their greats. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

After 2003 grand final loss in Heat Nightclub. Feeling sorry for myself hit the bourbons, HARD. Gone to the bar to order another and I see some flog in a Lions jumper, on closer inspection it was Martin Pike, and next to him, Anthony Rocca. Fired off an expletive laced jibe at Rocaa how his elbows had cost us the 2003 GF. My mates dragged me out of there pretty quick. _________________ Magpie Jumper Gallery:
