I would see if we could get Dion Heppsel and Jose Watson. _________________ I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for. |

Make it happen; you have the full support of "the board".

2017.
Maynard Brown Williams
Pendlebury Hurley Scharenberg
Sidebottom Aish Crisp
Howe Reid Broomhead
Elliott Cloke Moore
Grundy Treloar Adams
Fasolo Degoey Witts Marsh |
Hmmm... so for 2017 you've retired Swan, sacked White, demoted poor Varcoe and Greenwood, endorsed Scharenberg's miracle recovery, and no mention of the kid who wears #8? And Goldy captaining the 2nds then?

Yes, this has been spoken about a bit, and it's the sleeper in this whole mess. The players can activate the so-called 'breach of contract' clause in their deals with Essendon and walk for nothing. Both Carlisle and Ryder used this threat as leverage to get their trades done.
Those three are definitely the ones you'd chase/look at... |

Hooker is from WA. If he moves, it will be to a Sandgroper club for sure. _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine! |

What about Courtney Johns? He would give us some outside run we lack. _________________ " Ohhh Banksy and out comes the Note Book".

From the suspended group:
Michael Hibberd - wouldn't say no. But wouldn't be too bothered if he didn't come.
Tom Bellchambers - Not anymore. He showed something early on, but he lacks heart imo.
Jobe Watson - Too old and would prob not want to leave. If we were a top 2 team, he'd at least have to think about it. And imagine the Dons fans seeing him in a Pies jumper, for that reason alone I would say yes.
Brent Stanton - lols.
Tayte Pears - Its almost unfair they get to replace him. Injuries have held him back. Cannot improve our side.
Michael Hurley - You'd have to take him. Would he leave though?
Dyson Heppell - He would never leave his beloved Bombers. He's brainwashed, but he'd be a great addition to our midfield.
David Myers - Not for me. Doesn't improve the club.
Cale Hooker - Yes. Recent AA and B&F winner.
Travis Colyer, Heath Hocking, Ben Howlett - All no's for me. If you're going to poach someone, it'd have to be a very good player, not a good ordinary one.
From those at the club that are not rubbed out, it's doubtful that any would want to leave. I don't think anyone would touch Goddard anymore and he had his chance to leave. Zaharakis is one you'd probably take, maybe its possible his faith in the club is quite damaged? _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |
