I'm concerned we'll be a little stagnant off hb and through the middle. |
Toovey's return offsets that a bit. Oxley, Seedsman and Goodyear into the squad also gives options. |
If Toovey is our "run and carry", we're in trouble! He can't do anything with it at the end of his run except hit the opposition on the chest. |
Well that of course depends upon your opinion of Toovey. At a minimum he can take a lock down role and free up a Scharenberg, Maynard, Langdon or Oxley type. |

No, DTM, you have that completely wrong - once - a few weeks ago - he kicked the last 5 junk-time goals in a thrashing of inferior opposition and he has somehow assumed legendary status.
Ian McOrist anyone? |

Quote: | 5. Snooze fest Sunday
It's the most underwhelming day on the footy calendar – the last Sunday of the home-and-away season when four out-of-contention sides are shunted off-Broadway to battle among themselves while the fixture for the first week of the finals is being sorted out at AFL headquarters. Melbourne face GWS at Etihad Stadium and Collingwood meet Essendon at the MCG. These games weren't expected to be well attended but the added factor of Father's Day could see some historically low crowd figures. The Magpies and Bombers will probably struggle to attract 40,000 fans and if they don't, Sunday will be their worst-attended MCG match since round 22, 1987 (28,887). Melbourne and GWS are no strangers to low crowds, with at least one of them featuring in the four lowest-attended games of the season. Their meaningless encounter will almost certainly figure in the "top five" for 2015. Don't be surprised if the VFL elimination final between Essendon and Casey, which takes place at a similar time at North Port Oval, attracts a bigger crowd than the Dees-Giants match. |
So No One outside of Peptide Bummers and Collingwood Fans don’t give a S*it about Sundays Game?

Ian McOrist? I thought he was going to become our 'Ted Hopkins'. He was a great winger, very blonde and very classy, but gave the game away almost as soon as he arrived on the scene.
Does anyone else remember Warren Tredrea's old man, who played for Collingwood? He could take a screamer and was very talented, but left us to go to Adelaide. |

He probably gets more money, being an emergency. It also lets him know he's getting close to senior selection. That should give him confidence going into the pre-season. |

^^Gives him a nice incentive. Something to work towards. All he needs to do is injure 2-3 players and he gets a game. _________________ Well done boys! |
