Injuries have come at an unfortunate time for the VFL side.
Sinclair will definitely be out, Swan to you'd think so that leaves Cloke as the only one would could come back to allow White to be dropped back.
I'd almost be inclined to bring in whoever we can most afford to lose most from the VFL side.
Out:Sinclair
In:Armstrong?
Out:Swan
In:Young?
Out:White

I'd be inclined to load up the vfl side with as much eligible talent as possible this week, even to the detriment of the senior team. Be interesting to see how they go _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

you haven't been watching the vfl of late, have you? either that or you really need to get over your negative bias towards them. armstrong and young have been a couple of our consistent, best performed. having said that, you could make a case for seedsman, young or oxley to come in for sinkers, pk or kenno for swan. i'd give trav the final week off and leave jesse in. |
Oh spare me your sanctimonious twaddle.
Armstrong has played 1 AFL game for the year.
Young 0.
They are clearly not in the future plans of the coach and two of the lesser lights of the Collingwood list now (Armstrong always was) and if I was trying to keep the VFL side as strong as possible for finals then I'd be leaving Seedsman, Karnezis, Kennedy, Oxley and Dwyer in place. |

When you're down to about 12 or 13 AFL-listed players, you really want all hands on deck. But if we're talking about who the team could maybe afford to lose most, you could actually go the other way and pick someone like Manteit.
Toovey should be available to play, so he would be the logical inclusion for Sinclair. Maybe Macaffer for Swan, as a reward for a successful return from his second knee reco. Or maybe give Goodyear a look. Hopefully Cloke is good to go and can come in for White.
Even so, I'd almost prefer an underdone Michael Still or an inexperienced Ash Close to kick to than White. Hopefully those guys are right to go.
Some talk around that Witts hurt an ankle. Hopefully he's okay. _________________ I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat. |

again, you are not even thinking about their contributions to the vfl team. if you want to retain a strong vfl team then armstrong and young play on saturday. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

Bugger, if it as a bit later in the day would be able to get along. Clash with red headed chicks netball.
Will have to rely on the MBs coverage. _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |

Shame we get to finals and have Abbott, Broomhead, Gault, Goldsack, Ramsay, Sinkers, Swan and to a lesser extent Freeman unavailable. That'd be another 8 players to bolster the VFL either directly or by forcing someone else out of the seniors. Not to mention Keeffe and Thomas. |

Wonder if they'll play Reid if we're alive in week two of the finals. I think there'd be a strong case not to risk him, but on the other hand he's missed so much footy that another couple of games might do him some good. |

I'd hope that if we get through the EF this weekend that Marsh, Maynard, Scharenberg and Reid all play VFL the following week. |
