Post subject: Zero/Low Alcohol Beverages: Your Faves | |

I've gotten into non-alcoholic beer a bit lately to give the old liver a breather. Germany had some really nice ones on tap at most places, and I got the impression non-alcoholic beer was standard fare there.
I've been sampling the mainstream ones here from the UK supermarkets. There are also a few ciders here that are very low alcohol, and a range of drinks online. Nothing spectacular, but they fill a gap.
What is your go-to zero or low-alcohol bevy of choice? A beer? A cocktail? A fruit Sparkler? Some exotic extract business? _________________ In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

^ nothing really does what alcohol does, sadly. It's that flash of flavour as the ethanol warms and evaporates. I've never found a substitute, but i think the search for one accounts for the otherwise mysterious popularity of tea, yes. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

Ginger beer. Some of the low-alcohol varieties aren't bad either. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

I second the motion. If you drink tea with milk do you put the milk in first or afterwards?

I prefer to put the milk in the same time. It's different with meals though. With meals, I tend to put the soup in first, then some pasta, and last I put in the apple crumble, not forgetting to chew and swallow in between. But with tea, it's easier to put the milk and the tea in at the same time. Otherwise you need two different cups. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

Its been the brides go to drink for two stints of pregnancy.
I think psychologically the bottle design (and taste) make you feel like you aren't missing out.
I think $12-16 a bottle is reasonable. |
