Yeah, let's drop every player who stuffed a F50 entry. Reckon that might make for about 15 changes though. |
And Seedsman's kick OOB when kicking out of defensive 50m. _________________ Sydney Collingwood Supporters Club

Keeping the faith. Tonight was poor on several front and our structure was upset when we lost Cloke and were already missing Elliot.
We have had a pretty tough month and played some really good footy without winning so a flat performance was on the cards.
Just look at what the Hawks are doing to most teams at the moment and how we unsettled them a couple of weeks back and we are definitely heading in the right direction. Still think we can make finals and that will be invaluable for our younger players. They will become more consistent when they get to that 50-100 game range. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

Toovey stuffs up are predictable.
In fact, you could almost set your watch by them.
He has had a horror month.
Which means - It is time to go Toovs!

He was not Robonison Crusoe in doing that. Someone mentioned earlier this week that Etihad is as long as the 'G but significantly narrower, and i think the game plan of "play wide to go round the web" was misconceived in light of that fact. Whether it'd have worked on the MCG is debatable, but we clearly didn't have the skills to execute it on the slivers of ground available at Etihad. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

Disappointing but not upset. A few changes, Elliot out. Cloke getting injured early and we all knew we were going to struggle and the scoreboard reflected that. Where to from here? Keep playing the kids and we finish where we finish. We are close but not good enough at the moment.
Bring Moore in next week for Cloke. |

How many times did we kick it out on the full tonight? It must have been a world record, surely?
I had a feeling we would lose tonight because of all of the outs, and playing at Etihad, which is a ground we clearly don't like playing on.We can hide our lack of skills at the M.C.G where it's wet and slippery, but you can't get away with that at Etihad becuase the conditions are always perfect there.
The loss of Cloke is going to be huge for us,because our forward line has no structure without him.I think we're going to struggle from now on,and will probably miss the 8.
It won't be a disaster, because it will give us a good chance to take a good hard look at our list. There were several players who played tonight who are clearly not up to A.F.L standard and need to be moved on.

Some thought...
Good to have Wiiliams back, battled with Varcoe for our best. Whole defense did a pretty good job given the midfield supply.
Greenwood showed a bit and will be better for the run.
Seedsman and Kennedy didn't have much of an impact, hopefully they'll be better for the run.
Didn't notice Maynard. Don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
Sidey easily the most frustrating player on our list. Does so much great work but counter balances that with way too many face-palm moments.
White kept throwing himself into contests forcing the ball to ground. Be nice if he could clunk a few of those marks.
24-8 free kick count, don't get used to it.
The Weagles midfield gives an insight into what we can hopefully expect as our kids gain experience.
Nic-Nat is a freak. Thought Wittsy had a pretty good game in spite of that. Grundy had a horror start but got better as the game went on.
De Goey continues to improve. Crispy to.
See who puts their hand up tomorrow, could be a couple of changes. |

Make Marley Williams the next captain.
Play him in the midfield as much as possible.
Langdon and Frost and Marley are the only ones drafted
to improve of late. _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

Marsh has question marks over his kicking so should be a like for like replacement for Seedsman
Didnt think our rucks were that bad when they went forward didnt do enough. The delivery was shit. At least they got some more game time
Greenwood was so so but was his first game for yonks and will improve
Toovey was poor Marley was mostly very good Sidey 37 possessions
Oxley needs to spend a LOT of time in the weights room
Our backs did well considering how often and how fast the ball came in _________________ Carlscum 120 years being cheating scum |

Not sure it had much to do with a plan to play around the web so much as a lack of contested marking options through the corridor (made worse when we lost Cloke) and poor execution spotting up an option making space wide. Wasn't keeping count but was 4-5 OOF's clearing defense. |
