He if only I could get him to take a holiday! But he loves working
He might have had an excuse today, hurt himself when a big drill grabbed, and flipped his arm over. Have him ice, codeine, and anti inflams and shipped him upstairs so I could watch the footy without him telling me not to swear so much!
I'd love to be sitting anywhere in shorts, it would mean it was above 18 $£$%^%%$ degrees! Ugh, over winter!
Cheers, enjoy! _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

People we have to endure during work hours - I'm loathe to say 'colleague'. Especially when they're lying upstarts. And the cherry on top that prompted this post is it's inability to say a sentence without saying "and also aswell". No point explaining to it what a tautology is, the chair mat under my desk would be more likely to understand. |

Getting up in the morning to have Weet Bix and coffee and discovering that I have to settle for toast and coffee because there isn't enough milk for Weet Bix and coffee. Seriously, these First World problems of mine are really starting to grind me down. |

Dave, you take TMI to a whole new level.
Please never stop. |
I'm not sure what is more disturbing.
That he felt the need to pick up the pubes or he recognised they were his mums.

Hate being hassled outside the front entrance of a supermarket especially as it's not a volunteer position.
My mum has volunteered for the Cancer Council for over 20 years but they just sit at there stall and wait for people to approach them. |
They bug me too and I'm indirectly in the business.
It's awesome that your Mum has volunteered but unfortunately there's just not enough people like her. And if you see people sitting on their arses not working, then I can assure you they're not getting paid much and neither is the charity. Trust me, I've seen some earnings to contractors go through for as little as $3 a week.
The reality is charities need marketers. All day every in every city and most towns in this country. The kids who do it right make a very decent wage and have amazing prospects to build their own sales and marketing companies down the road and earn the really big bucks. But in doing that, they also raise millions of dollars a year to go towards charities that just wouldn't get the exposure and donations without these companies working for them.
So yeah, they may not be volunteers, but they still do good work. |
i always thought it was illegal to actively solicit donations. has this changed? _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |
