I think Jess is applying himself pretty well.
His ruckwork is very serviceable (Thompsoc I can't understand at all where you are coming from).
Kicking the easy one's is all that is missing really...oh and letting Burgoyne (?) run off from the mark was a bad lapse of concentration. _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |

His ruck work is serviceable but he his limited or no impact in the ruck.
However, he certainly has a big impact up forward including releasing Cloke.
Let him concentrate on the one area where he has shown to be very useful. _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

I remember when Leigh Brown couldn't kick. Now everybody is obsessed with "The Leigh Brown role". Imagine if White starts kicking straight and in years to come everybody starts talking about "The Jesse White role" |

Jessie is getting better by the game, those haters just focus on those last few minutes and taint him for his whole game, granted he has to finish but the guy is what we need up forward with Cloke ( who has been missing goals for 8 years now )!

I understand your frustration and I agree with you to an extent but Trav missed easy shots as well. Don't forget we kicked 2.9 in the 3rd qtr. In the end that cost us the game. |

Despite being VERY disappointed about his finishing skills (as a forward) in front of goals over the last two weeks, it is his short stepping to the contest & what seems to be a lack of intent that REALLY frustrates me! |

I assume that means you had no problem with the FOUR out of bounds on the full in the last quarter against Freo when we just hand the back to them on the wings or half back. I can remember one goal that cost us. |

Instead of blaming Jesse White's one miss in the last quarter, how about you take a look at Cloke's misses earlier in the game. White doesn't deserve the criticism. I mean the poor guy has everybody watching him like a hawk waiting for him to make the slightest blunder. He's becoming more aggressive. He's on the up. Plenty of other guys are to blame for bad misses. We lost the game in the third quarter when we went on a behind kicking rampage. |

No excuses.
You can talk about misses t every other point in the game, but late the last quarter, the goals mean more as there is less time for the opposition to kick a "reply".
Jessie has choked three times in two weeks. He's a head case unfortunately, and I'd like for us to chase another tall forward for 2016 and beyond and have Grundy ruck 100% of the time or split time with Witts if they are both dominating.
Jessie isn't a piece to the premiership puzzle. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

He is in very little danger of getting dropped, we have no one else on the list to replace him.
Yes the misses are bad, but the forwards are not alone, Crisp missed a sitter, Pendlebury has sprayed them from straight in front this year, Swanny is pretty unreliable in front of goal and as good as DeGoey looks, don't have much faith with him either! At the end of day, anyone can have an off night, but people focus on the same people. White and Cloke didn't kick 19 behinds between them
The games we win are when Fasolo or Elliott pop up and kick a bag as well, that takes the pressure off, but they are MIA atm. |
Well said. |
