Post subject: Something is up with Elliot.

Ever since his great performance against the Roos something very bad has come over Billy's efforts.
It was around that same time that resigning of his contract has also gone very hush hush.
Does anyone have any info of when and if it's even guaranteed Elliot will be staying a pie? _________________ Collingwood = Everything Carlton dream to be. |

Isn't it rumoured that he pulled a groin vs gws?
Either way, he's always been hot and cold. Similar type player to fas I think. Yet Fas has a shocker and its straight to VFL. bucks' golden child Elliot has like 4 bad ones in a row and he still gets a game.
I've been wanting them to drop Elliot for weeks. Just to shake him up. To me its like if one of blair, fas or elliot doesn't perform send them to VFL to shake them up a bit. Never happens to Elliot though. |

Didn't he sign a new contract recently?
I'd keep it simple next week and just play him forward. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

Elliott has, by far, the most talent of the 3. He's also kicked 60 goals in his last 30 games (including tonight's blank), whereas Fasolo's kicked about 60 at about 1 per game over his entire career. Also, Elliott kicked 2 last week (and 6 over 3 games since the North match). He's certainly been down but given his extraordinary accuracy and his consistent 2-goal per game output (bettered only at Collingwood, of course, by Cloke in current times) he's unlikely to be left out unless he has an injury that they think will prevent him playing to an adequate standard. The TV showed Buckley speaking intently to him on the bench in the second quarter, so I guess we'll see what turns up over the next few days. |

Maybe it's just simply a case of him being out of form as all players go through it at some point.
I expect him to recapture his form sooner rather than later. He's too good to have too many poor weeks of football consecutively. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023

Nope he didn't resign.
Jornos and club said it was about to happen. Then all of a sudden it stopped and 2 months later it hasn't gone anywhere.
Doubtful he will go but until it happens it concerns me . _________________ Collingwood = Everything Carlton dream to be. |

Elliott, who was due to fall out of contract at the end of this season, has signed a three-year extension that will take him through until the end of 2018.

He is a gun forward who now get's targeted and tagged by the opposition. That is why Buckley is moving him around. |

Small forwards go missing. They have since football was invented and it becomes more apparent in finals. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

Maybe injury but prob just form. He plays a difficult position and against experienced teams crowding him out it is easy to have a couple games where you just can't grab a hold of those split second opportunities when there is no space. _________________ Magpies love pies(Lol) |
