Didn't check time remaining. 3 overs.
I'd declare o/night and get the boys into an attacking frame of mind. ie. Walk out there, all Baggy Greens on, imagining it's the open morning of the Ashes series. _________________ Donny.

Opening bat Denley bowled Siddle for 22 off 31 balls

Bell-Drummond smashed a quick century, being particularly severe on Fawad Ahmed.
4,6,4,4,4,6,6 (all from Ahmed) - his last scoring shots. 102 n.o. _________________ Donny.

4/203.
Bell-Drummond out for 127 from 112 balls.
Daniel James Bell-Drummond is nearly 22 y.o. and looks to have a bright future.
Good entry in his CV: "127 from 112 balls against the Ashes touring Australians. First class match."
Today was his 7th. FC ton. He also has 12 fifties. _________________ Donny.

Numbers don't mean a lot, here, for the Aussies. It's getting work into those bodies, in English conditions.
They could've had a bearing on the first Test team, though. eg. Shaun Marsh hit a good ton but Rogers was also in fine form, esp. considering his lay-off from concussion. Marsh 114. Rogers 84 & 45.
The other interesting contest was Watto and Mitch Marsh. Watto hasn't bowled in this match. Marsh returned 1/35 & (so far) 1/28.
21 & 81 for Watson and 30 & 101 ret. for Marsh.
The main point of interest is how Ryan Harris pulls up. _________________ Donny.
