We're clearly still working things out and won't look this good every week, but the definite improvement over last year, even in losses. is our organisation. We look like a well coached side this season where we didn't in the second half of last year.
We are also seeing a number of fringe or secondary players have some big games, showing that we do have some depth of quality. I'm not confident we'll make the eight this year, but I am confident we're on the right track. _________________ Well done boys! |

Good second half. Showed a bit of killer instinct.
Thought we were a bit fumbly all night and made some bad decisions, still nice win in the end.
Varcoes best game by a mile.
Goldy must play in defence.
Pendles great 200th.
Great to see White, Fas and Elliot kick multiple goals.
Crisp continues to impress.
Sidey welcome back. Didn't miss a beat.
Beat another bottom 4 side. The tests will come in the weeks ahead. |

Can you have an unconvincing 69 point win. I was Unconvinced.
Good win. But have plenty to work on. |

Leave Cloke running up around CHF and keep playing two rucks. Between those two the combined effect is to spread the opposition defence and create space for the other forwards.
Nice win. Tick. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Haven't had a chance to see the game yet, but very happy with what I heard on the radio.
The skipper appeared to have a great game for number 200. And Varcoe & Goldy also seemed to have great games.
Fas did exactly what he is supposed to do as a forward. Kick a couple & cause a couple. Hope he can keep it up against better opposition.
I know the Suns are Carlton like opposition, but we belted them, so very happy with that.
Hopefully, Frosty can get up, we really need him next week, had hopefully Tooves & Ramsay as well. _________________ I hold a cup of wisdom, but there is nothing within. |

Pretty ordinary match.
I thought playing Witts and Grundy together
was a big win tonight.
De Goey was poor but I would keep playing him for one
or more games.
Broomhead provided a spark.
We lacked tackling pressure again tonight. _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

Okay Win. Those we looked good because we played Nothing.
My Thoughts:
Nicholls Easily Beat Grundy and Witts
Great to See Elliot get back in form in the 2nd Half
White Kicking 4 Goals but Can he back it up?
Varcoe best game I seen him play
Pendles was Pendles
Swan got the Ball but did not use it well
Sidebottom’s Class makes a Difference
We Kicking Straight for Goal
De Goey was Fumbly and Shanked a few kicks
Fas was Fantastic _________________ I am Da Man

Yes, JW.
Some Nickheads think it's against the rules for teams to actually score, against us. _________________ Donny.

Pies continue to downhill ski their way into contention for a finals spot. Can we beat up enough shit teams to make it? The Richmond loss could end up hurting unless we can pull an upset at some stage. |

Yep, it was unconvincing because skill execution was still poor, hands were sloppy and turnovers coming out of the back line in particular were still prevalent, given the opposition was next to pathetic allowed us to get away with pretty much every mistake we made. However, an 11 goal win we shall take, but it was a win that simply didn't display improvement other than getting 1 more game of experience in and giving Fasolo a run.
I wonder how we would go in a game against Sydney or Hawthorn with the intense pressure they are playing with tonight. That first half was top 4 footy at its brutal best. That is our goal and it is a very long way away. _________________ RED "BABY" CAVANAUGH: Didn't hear what the bet was.
