The reference to VPNs in that article seems like a complete non-sequitur. I don't see how a VPN could meet the "primary purpose" test. Let's see what the legislation actually provides.

The big Complaining is over Geo-Blocking letting Aussie use streaming Sites that are not allowed to used by Aussies.;

Well they should fix their business model. They're getting clear evidence it's broken, stop treating the symptoms (piracy) and fix the problem.

I agree but Big Entertainment like to Attack there Customers instead of Fixing the Problem.

They are being Cheap and don’t want to Spend money to fix the Problem which would work better then what they do instead

Dave you really didn't read those articles too well, did you?

I suggest go back and read them slowly and you will see it's only a discussion point.

That small film creator said yes they should be banned, but as Google and others pointed out, they can be used for legit purposes.

If I need to work from home, I VPN into work - they're not going to ban them.
