I can't believe I haven't heard a word about this yet.....
Witts takes that pack mark right at the end of the game, and buggered if I know what the guy was thinking, Kamdyn McIntosh goes and kicks him whilst Witts was on the ground.
Couldn't believe my eyes.
To be fair it was more of a toe poke rather than a full-blooded kick, but Tony Francis got 6 weeks for something reasonably similar. _________________ "I am a great sage, equal of heaven.

I think you were right not to believe your eyes, KM—can't see any boots connecting with Jarrod there. He does give him a push, though. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

That McIntosh kid is a real little shit.
In the second term Oxley laid a tackle inside 50, the player he tackled got the ball off and the next Tigers player kicked the goal.
While the rest of the Tigers players celebrated McIntosh headed straight to Oxley who was trying to get up off his hands and knees and pushed him in the back for no reason what so ever.
That's not tough, that's bloody weak, so was the kick on Witts. |

Well then he would fit in at Richmond then.

Thanks for the link.
Nah mate, this confirms exactly what I saw from a much better view live, Row X behind the goals. He kicked him. Watch the left leg. Subtle movement from that angle, but almost exactly what Francis got 6 weeks for just without the provocation. _________________ "I am a great sage, equal of heaven.

I've watched it about five times and, although it's obscured by Witts's body, I can barely even see Macintosh's left leg move. If he did kick him, it surely wasn't with enough force to earn comparisons to something a player got a 6-week suspension for. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace

Just goes to show you can't trust television replays over the human eye.
(Been saying this for years regarding cricket DRS and now the AFL goal reviews......)
From a different angle in live action it was clear as day.
David, look up what Tony Francis got 6 weeks for, very similar but far more visible, a frustration toe-poke.
I'm sure it's on youtube somewhere. Round 1 1990. _________________ "I am a great sage, equal of heaven.

Six weeks was a bit harsh, but that's a pretty clear (literal) boot up the arse from Tony. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

6 weeks for that little toe tap was one of the most disgraceful sentences I've ever witnessed. Bloody hell, I'm still angry about it. Blokes were getting half that for elbows to the head! _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |
