Interesting Stevic played deliverate out of bounds for Essendon and several seemingly identical incidents by Essendon weren't paid.
Putting that aside, other umpiring not too bad.
Really, really pleased by the effort across the board.
Liking Crisp more every week. Varcoe was off today.
I am unsure about Ramsay.

Would be nice to make finals with a healthy list, but not overly fussed if we don't this year. We just need to make incremental improvements each week and get some of young guns same game time this year, Moore, Sharenberg, Freeman, etc.
Goldsak was being lauded on TV. Had a good last quarter, but his ball handling in the first three was pretty bad. _________________ Go Pies!! |

Wow wee we got a beauty in crisp. Tough and skilful. Omg the egg on the faces of these dick wad so called experts as I type are reneging on there stupid pre season expectations.
Collingwood was so workman like and stuck to there game plan, they defended the middle of the ground just superberbly and when the ball did make its way into there forward line our back six totally smashed the more fancied cheaters who incerdently are (*&^%^& shit. _________________ no second chances |

What a game. What a win!
Still so much of the season to go, but happy with that effort today. It feels like the side can only get better from here. Especially with some other players like Sidebottom and Reid to still come back in. |

I couldn't be prouder.
My boy Frosty was meaner than a junkyard dog and more miserly than an undertaker, Brown played his best game in a long time and dispelled those who reckon he's trade bait and a special mention to Goldsack. He fumbles too much and makes mistakes but by Christ he goes hard. He was terrific.
Crispy was a beauty, Elliott dangerous and Taylor Adams is my (and he should be a fair few of everyone else's) new favourite player. Tough, brave and committed. And Grundy is as hard as fukking nails and a future champion.
Clokey stuck at it, Swanny and Pendles were the elite champions they've been for so long and Seedsman was a deserved BOG.
I've had my doubts about Buckley but these boys are playing for him and if they're prepared to get behind him then we should back him in too. We owe him that at least.
You little rippers.

8 disposals, 1 mark and 2 tackles. I love Frosty and he was good but that's hardly outstanding. _________________ Donny.

Funny, when I first turns my rather drunk mind to who would win the medal, I instantly though Seeds and then Frost had a touch and I went 'hold on'.
What a win! As the only Magpie at my local pub, with a dozen bomber fans ... that was sweeter than sweet.

A wonderful win.
What really impressed me was the ferocious tackling in those last few minutes, even though the game was in the bag.
Onya Seeds. Great effort. _________________ Donny.
