Post subject: [Opinion] Moore be the Best of 2014 Draft Class….Easily
|
Well we seemed to have drafted 2 exciting Prospect at Pick 5 and 30 with De Goey and Maynard. Big Physical Types that we Need in out Side/Midfield.
But Moore has just something Special about him. How Atheletic he is for a 199/200cm player is just Insane and you don’t have many like him in the AFL. He also has Sticky Hands and Great Contested Mark.
Also has big time Leadership Quality and to see him being Captain of Collingwood in the Future would not be very Surprising.
I watched 4 or Moore’s last 5 Games and he was Very Impressive in them.
He just gets me so Excited on how good he can be.

Love the optimism Dave but you're getting ahead of yourself far too early!
Personally I think Darcy will make it as he's a very skilful footballer and very mentally sound but we don't know what will transpire over the next few years and hence we need to calm our expectations accordingly.
However in saying that, I'm looking forward to his development and it's great to have him at the club! _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023

He is going to be a once in a generation player for us, I'm horned up ready to watch him explode ha ha. I'm with you Dave I'm very excited. He is a special talent quote from one of our past recruiters that I talked to just recently |

Moore looked very good. Kicking in Drills where good and exciting to see Moore Smash White on a Lead where Moore go to the Ball before White. Also played on Grundy a bit. _________________ I am Da Man |

Dave the most exciting thing about young Darcy is his intense desire to play for Collingwood - not just AFL football - but Collingwood, first last and always.
THAT is exactly the attitude we want to inspire in all our kids.
Given his work ethic and footy nous, combined with his athleticism and driven nature it's not hard to visualize him on the leadership team in '16 where his love of the Pies and professionalism will be great assetts. |
