Quote: | Surprise-packet defender Tom Langdon is confident he can avoid the "second year blues" and is looking forward to cementing a spot in Collingwood's team that he feels is not yet his to take for granted.
So composed at senior level did Langdon look in his first year that he could be forgiven for presuming another big step awaits him in 2015. However the 20-year-old acknowledges that nothing is guaranteed, and many youngsters before him have fallen into the trap of a let-down year hard on the heels of an outstanding debut season. |

Also looking at a move to the midfield.
Good luck to the kid, I liked his style this season and I like having a bunch of high quality kids all trying to cement a spot by improving what they offer to the team. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I met him at a function, very level headed and mature. I expect him to be in the 22 all year. |

Very level headed kid. Could potentially play anywhere other than KPP and ruck if he's given a crack. Love the fact the kids feel they still have to earn a senior berth. |

Will be the new James Clement!
He can read the ball in the air exactly like
Jimmy.
Will be an A grader in a year or two bar injury. _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

Langdon was excellent for a first-year player with little expectation on him and I like the fact that he's wary that he needs to keep working harder and that his spot wasn't essentially safe this season despite playing the majority of our games this year.
He also has great leadership potential according to those who more about him than I do, so that's fantastic to see. The fact that he got overlooked in 2012 but got drafted in 2013 speaks volumes of his work ethic in my opinion. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |
