Absolute spud of a footballer.

Has horrible decision making at the best of times and isn't a better man-on-man defender than any of Frost, Brown, Reid or Keefe.

Hopefully he ends up in the VFL where he belongs.

Watch the last qtr of the VFL GF. He got smashed. I'm not sure he could even cut it in the VFL.

"Key defender Ryan Schoenmakers has been left devastated to learn the Hawks have been shopping him around to other clubs, the Herald Sun reports.

Adelaide and Fremantle are interested in the versatile tall, who appears likely to struggle to push his way into Hawthorn's back six following the recruitment of free agent and former Demon James Frawley.

The 23-year-old had indicated to the Hawks he wanted to stay at the club and work his way into the senior side, while list manager Graham Wright confirmed the South Australian was a required player.

However after giving up their first two picks (No.19 and No.40) in exchange for GWS midfielder Jono O'Rourke, the Hawks are now keen to move up the draft order and Schoenmakers is on the trade table as a result."

The Hawks are just so ruthless, it's no wonder they are so successful. Wonder what they would have done with the Beams situation if they were in our shoes?

They would have told the Brions to get lost and shove their deal where the sun don't shine.
The Hawks are bloody ruthless in getting what is best for them when dealing unlike Collingwood.... Rolling Eyes

I have no interest in Collingwood recruiting him - I'm just trying to help keep people informed about what's going on elsewhere.
