I wonder if this means GWS could be open to trading Treloar? |

Id rather Beams for Treloar straight swap.
This is actually really bad for us - means that if we do end up with pick 5 we have no hope of getting McCarthy or Wright in the draft.
All the mids after Brayshaw and Petrenco are relative to each other. _________________ "Even when Im old and gray, I wont be able to play but Ill still love the game"

The speculation is (al beit, it's from Barrett, but let's go with it for a moment), that Carlton will trade pick 7 for Jaksch and Whiley from GWS, along with pick 19.
Gives GWS 4 & 7 for Griffen. |

Hell yeah, but our wise leader is reportedly on his way to Kuta Beach chasing Geelong rejects. |

Tippet was going to BrisVegas but only got as far as Sydney so Dane can too. Heater and Beams are both in the U.S at present if I'm not mistaken.
Get Heater in his ear, extolling the virtues of GWS. Give us Treloar and pick 4 (or even 7) for Beams - deal done. _________________ 'Collingwood are the Bradmans of Football'

Burgo, lets not stuff this up.
Give em Beams and something and something to get Treloar.
Lets not harbour false hopes about Beams coming back - he is history! |

If they're prepared to give up 4 & 7 for Griffin then Beams is worth Treloar and 7.
Give em Beams and 23 then for Treloar and 4.
That is feasible and is a win for both clubs and where they are on their journey right now. _________________ 'Collingwood are the Bradmans of Football'

I feel Treloar is about as good as Aish, so he'd only get half the Beams deal done for me.
Beams to Brisbane for Aish and pick 5
Picks 5 and 30 to GWS for Treloar.
GWS use pick 4 to get Griffen outright. Then picks 5 and 7 to trade up to pick 1 from St.Kilda if they're willing. |

The dogs at this stage have stated that Griffen is a required player which is not surprising.
However we need to use this lull to begin serious talks with GWS over Beams and strike before the opportunity passes.
Beams needs to get it into his head that he might have to compromise on where he ends up if he's so desperate to leave the club and chase the money.
His best mate is at GWS and he's 50% closer to his dad and only an hours flight away.
Stuff Brisbane.
Just hope the club is being proactive on this issue now and exploring other alternatives. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

Na, Treloar is one of the few players I'd be happy to straight swap for beams and think we got the better deal.

Yea agree with a straight swap for Treloar. He's had a few years of development. Over that 50 games of experience and has shown three years of consistency as well as dramatic improvement every year. He is already a gun and would be very happy for a straight swap for Beams |
